Just a glass or two
EmmaAthens2013 asked for a oneshot of Emma and Killian gettinginto a drinking contest with the dwarves. Snowing find out and aren't very happy when they get there and discipline her.
"You know, you aren't so bad!" Anton slurred, putting a heavy arm around Killian's shoulders. Well, he wasn't so bad to Anton after five or six large pints of beer. "You know, my brothers and I would get into a lot of drinking contests. I didn't win very often…"
"Come on, drink up Tiny!" Abraham laughed.
"Yes, little brother. Catch up with us!" Andre challenged. Anton pushed the mug away, feeling sick.
"Oh come on, you're not giving up that easy are you? You might as well be human!" Argyle teased. Anton was about to get up and punch him (he was feeling uncharacteristically angry) when Arlo placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Brothers, leave Tiny be. It's not his fault. Remember he's smaller than us. He can't handle as much drink." Arlo stated…
But here Anton could drink more than most. Sure, he had probably had too much but he was still better off than all of his new dwarf brothers. Happy was ignoring everyone's attempts to get him to stop.
"Leave me be!" Happy yelled before hiccupping. "I'm fine! Do none of you remember what Stealthy used to say?" The dwarves rolled their eyes as they remembered their fallen brother.
"A Dwarf who can't hold his liquor is no dwarf at all." They could all clearly remember Stealthy saying on many occasions.
Meanwhile, it appeared Bashful wasn't so Bashful once he got a drink in him.
"I always thought you were pretty from when you came here." Bashful slurred to a giggling Emma.
"Bashful!" Dopey shouted, shocked. He wasn't drinking, said he was clumsy enough.
"What, it's true!" Bashful protested. Emma just giggled, moving over to Killian.
"Sorry dude, this is the only man for me!" Killian grinned, wrapping an arm tightly around his Swan. Little John had recently taken up a job in the Rabbit Hole as the bouncer. He could see the group had clearly over indulged and it was time for them to go home.
"Alright guys," Little John said, coming over "I think your night's over."
"See I don't think it is." Anton said, getting up on unsteady feet. The pair were of a similar build and height. Obviously little John wasn't going to get into a scrap with the drunken group. He mumbled into his walkie talkie. All he could think to do was find someone to take them home. So he asked reception to get hold of Snow White and Charming to take care of Emma and Killian. He then went over to Dopey and asked him to round up his brothers. Dopey nodded nervously and began to convince his brothers to get going. That they could always finish the night off in someone's home. Just as he had finished and they were heading out, Snow and Charming were heading in after dropping Neal off with Granny and Red.
"Uh oh." Emma said upon spying her parents. They looked maaaaaad.
"Home. Now." Charming said sternly. Emma just laughed.
"Oh come on guys, have some fun! You didn't need to come here. I can just go home with Killian…"
"Like Hell you will." Charming butted in, grabbing Emma's hand and pulling her up. "You're not staying with him tonight where too many regrets could be made."
"Honestly mate, if anything happened tonight I wouldn't regret a thing." Killian replied smugly. Charming went to punch the smugness off his face, but Snow placed a calming hand on his shoulder.
"He's drunk, he doesn't mean it. Focus the chastising on little Miss goes out for one drink and gets totally hammered. Emma, what were you thinking? You're meant to be at the station tomorrow!"
"Shh, I'm sick tomorrow. Don't tell dad." Snow and Charming just rolled their eyes.
"Well don't think you're having a nice cosy lie in and doing nothing all day. You can help me look after your brother. That'll be a nice hangover cure."
"Right! Point taken, I shouldn't have gotten so drunk, Can I please go back to bed now?" Emma begged. It was only ten am but her brother's persistent crying had made her hangover headache ten times worse. Snow smiled, feeling her and Charming's point was made.
"Yes, you may." She responded. Emma didn't need told twice. She bolted up the stairs and practically dived under her covers. She was too old for this level of drinking!
