Just one touch- Part 2

I've had quite a few requests for a follow up to "Just one touch" so here it is!

Snow stumbled out of the house. The whole town seemed strange to her- like she'd never been here a day before in her life. Sure, the setting was familiar, but the people weren't who she thought they were. They didn't even know who they really were. Snow walked through the town in a daze. She had to find her grandson.

"Hey Miss Blanchard!" Snow looked over to see it was Billy the mechanic talking to her. But that wasn't who he really was. Did Snow even know who he really was? "You alright there?" Billy asked, seeing her almost frightened expression. Snow nodded.

"Yeah, I'll be fine." She called back. She walked out onto the road without looking and was nearly hit by the "Game of Thorns" flower shop van.

"Watch where you're going!" Moe- the owner- yelled, leaning out of the window. "You could have ruined my lilies!"

"Sorry." Snow stammered, stumbling onto the pavement again. "I'll try to be more careful." Moe grumbled under his breath before driving on, leaving Snow to continue her quest to find Henry.

She searched all the usual places he might be on a Saturday. He wasn't at his mom's house. She'd gone round there and nobody answered. Snow had to admit she was quite grateful. She wasn't sure she could see Regina right now and not floor her for wrecking her family. She searched his castle, Granny's, the park and even the library. Nothing. Snow was just about to give up and go home when she spotted the little boy reading the book she gave him on the steps of the ice cream shop.

"Henry!" She said excitedly, running over to him. Henry looked up at her, chocolate ice cream smudged on his cheek. Snow couldn't believe it, this was her grandson! She had to be careful though, nobody else knew that. All they saw was a student and teacher.

"Yeah Miss Blanchard? Have I forgotten homework or something?" He asked. Snow smiled at his innocence. She shook her own head.

"No Henry…I know." Henry looked at her, puzzled. She tapped her finger against the book. "I know." She repeated. "I touched Emma's baby blanket and I…I just know." She said, careful of any listeners. Henry's whole face lit up. He knew it! He knew he wasn't crazy!" He grinned back at his teacher turned grandmother.

"I told you so."
