Happy Valentine's Day
A guest asked for a oneshot of a Valentine's Day date for Snowing. Since I don't like writing day/holiday themed oneshots after the actual day I've bumped your request up haha. To all you other singletons today I understand. Don't worry; we can all enjoy some Snowing fluff!
They had decided to forgo all traditional date ideas. Well, traditional for this world anyway. They would not exchange cards with cheesy poems or chocolates in heart shaped boxes. They wouldn't go for an overly fancy dinner where someone was trying to push Charming into buying Snow a rose that would wither and die within a couple of days. No, their love surpassed all that. The couple even knew that the beach would be filled with couples dotted about enjoying a romantic stroll. No, instead they would take the place that meant the most to them- the woods. It was where they had first met, after all. Where a lot of their happy memories took place in the Enchanted Forest, but the Storybrooke woods would do just as well. Charming had set up a beautiful little picnic as a surprise for Snow with all her favourite foods. Strawberries (some dipped in cream, some in chocolate and others plain), cheddar cheese sandwiches, purple seedless grapes, carrot cake with a cream cheese icing and a bottle of her favourite red wine.
"Oh Charming." Snow said, touched. "This is perfect." Charming wrapped his arms around his love's waist and kissed her cheek tenderly.
"Only the best for my soul mate. You know that, right? You're more than just my wife. You are the only person I could ever love, Snow White." Snow reached up and placed a lingering kiss against his lips.
"Well I wouldn't share my heart with just anybody- just you." Charming then released his wife and took her hand, leading her to the picnic.
They shared in the food, the memories and the laughter.
"You know…" Snow said seductively, running her fingers along Charming's chest. "The forest is going to be very quiet tonight. And Emma promised to watch Neal for the whole night. It would be just like old times…" Charming grinned, knowing exactly what Snow meant. He crawled over, kissing Snow hard. She placed her hand in his hair leaning back. It really was going to be just like old times.
