The second curse
thekeeblerelf asked for a oneshot of the second curse being broken by Snowing kissing Emma. Confession: I can't remember all the ins and outs of the episode surrounding the second curse being broken and this is the only time I'll have to write today so sorry for inaccuracies!
"Emma, it's alright…"
"No, no it's not alright!" Emma shouted, pulling away from her mom's grasp. "How can it be alright? She is after my little sibling and we have no idea why or how to defeat her. The only way of finding out is to get your memories back from the missing year and we don't know how! I couldn't even get Henry's memories back, Regina had to do that. We must have lost what we had to break the first curse. Now I'm totally useless." Charming came over and pulled Emma into his safe, loving arms.
"Don't ever call yourself useless." He murmured into her hair. "That's far from the truth. How much have you done for this family and this town? You said it yourself- you broke the original curse. Just because it didn't work again this time doesn't mean you and Henry no longer share true love. Part of the conditions last time was that both of you had to believe. Remember how it wouldn't work until you picked up the storybook? Emma, if you're doubting yourself again you're not going to be able to break any curse. But it's alright, we're going to find a way. Your little brother or sister is safe and we'll make sure they always are. Just like we will with you and Henry." Snow joined her husband and daughter, creating a group hug. Emma allowed herself to enjoy the safety of her parents' embrace. Maybe they were right. Maybe she was still as strong as she was when she and Henry broke the first curse. Maybe she could still help keep this family safe. Her parents could feel beginning to relax. They were glad; they didn't want her carrying all this weight on her shoulders. She was their daughter way before she was "the saviour". Snow pressed her lips gently against Emma's cheek. Charming then pressed his to the side of her head. As soon as he did a bright light flashed out from where they stood spreading quickly across the whole town. Snow and Charming stumbled back from Emma, their eyes widening as the memories flooded their brains. Beside Henry Regina was experiencing the same thing; the memories from the lost year were back.
"Emma," Charming gasped "you done it. We know what she wants now, we can stop her." He took Emma's face in his hands proudly. His special girl. Emma gave a watery smile back.
"No, I didn't do it." She said, getting a puzzled look in return "We did."
