2 asked for a oneshot of Neal being 15 during the curse of shattered sight. He tries to take a sword off his mom and ends up getting hurt.
"Would the pair of you stop fighting!" Neal demanded from where Emma had locked him in the office. His magic prevented him from being affected by the curse but it didn't stop him from being able to see the disastrous effects.
"Would you shut your brat up before I do it for him?" Regina hissed as she continued sparring with Snow.
"Do not threaten my son!" Snow yelled as she tried to stab Regina in the chest. For some reason the curse didn't affect the parent/child relationship. But Neal knew Snow didn't really want to hurt Regina and vise versa. Their relationship was as solid as it had ever been. Neal's dad stood in the cell Emma had locked him in watching the fight looking unsure what to do. Neal understood that right now he didn't think he loved mom but if Regina killed her right now none of them would ever forgive themselves. Neal was trying his best to use his magic to undo Emma's shield spell around the office door but she was too strong. There was only one option- smash through the window. He had wanted to avoid doing this, shattered glass was causing enough trouble already, but it seemed he had no other option. He raised his leg and shoved it through the window before barrel rolling through to the station. His mom and Regina hadn't stopped fighting through his entrance. His mom currently had her back to him so Neal took his opportunity and tried to pull the sword from her grasp. Not knowing it was Neal Snow moved the handle of the sword back hard into his gut. Neal grunted in pain before keeling over. Snow whipped round and her eyes widened in horror when she saw it was Neal she'd hurt, even Regina seemed distracted from the fight. Neal had managed to waste enough time, a bright light passed through the station before his parents and Regina began to blink rapidly.
"Let me out!" Charming demanded "Neal, you alright son?" Regina fumbled with the keys to let him out as Snow pulled up his top.
"Neal I am so sorry." Snow said feeling horrified with herself. "Oh that's going to be a nasty bruise. I cannot believe I did this to my own son…"
"It's ok." Neal grunted. "You didn't mean it. I'm just glad you and Regina didn't really hurt each other, that Emma stopped the curse in time." Sure, he was going to have a pretty sore stomach for a while, but it was better than his mom having a sore heart from killing Regina. His wound would heal.
