brit asked for a oneshot of Henry reading to a five year old Neal who points out the weirdest things.

"But Henry, why is my mommy's hair so long? Mommy has short hair!" My five year old nephew said as he pointed at the picture of my grandma. Never mind that they were living in another land and my other mom was trying to kill them- the thing he was worried about was that his mom's hair was too long! I loved babysitting Neal, he was always so much fun. He was like me when I was little- so full of imagination.

"It used to be short when she lived in the Enchanted Forest- you remember your parents telling you about the Enchanted Forest, right buddy?" Neal nodded enthusiastically. He loved hearing stories about the "magic land" as he called it. Although it did leave him with a lasting fear of my mom, no matter how many ice creams and cookies she made appear for him. He turned the page and examined the pictures before I started to read to him.

"Henry, that's Auntie Red and Granny! But why does Granny have that? Granny doesn't fight!" I smiled as I saw Neal pointing as Granny's old crossbow.

"Granny used to fight when she really had to. She doesn't much anymore, there's nobody for her to fight."

"And she's pretty old." Neal added. I couldn't help but laugh at that, he was just so honest.

"Well yeah I suppose…but don't ever say that to her or Auntie Red. I don't want a permanent ban from Granny's- there's nowhere else for us to eat around here." Neal giggled, but I'm not sure he really understood why. His eyes started to close and he snuggled against me.

"Night night Henry. Love you." He said happily. I leaned down and kissed his head.

"Night buddy. I love you too." I replied. I didn't move him to his bed until I was certain he was sound asleep. I loved babysitting the little man, He was just like a little spark of electricity. I hoped that would never go out.
