TV
fangirl99 asked for a oneshot of baby Neal trapping his family in the TV until Emma convinces him to let them out.
"How?" Charming said, astounded. "Just…how?!"
"True love magic is very powerful." Emma reminded them. "Just because Neal is a baby doesn't mean his magic isn't very strong, it just means he can't control it. Just be grateful we're in Baby Einsteins and not something dangerous like Star Trek where someone could be firing a laser at us.
"Yes but this has show has its on tortures." Snow complained as she covered her ears firmly. "Their voices are so irritating!" Emma fully agreed with her mother but if they just sat here covering their ears they'd never get out.
"Neal." Emma cooed gently. "Can you try real hard and let us out little guy?" Neal cocked his head to the side, as if trying to recognise where he knew the lady on the TV from. He seemed to get it and started giggling. "That's right buddy, it's sissy here! But I can't give you big cuddles from in here. Why don't you let me, mommy and daddy out huh?" Neal blinked and suddenly the family were no longer in baby Einsteins, they were in the middle of an American football match. They only just managed to dodge out of the way of a stampede of players. It seemed that nobody could see them but they weren't taking any chances. They might be like holograms to everyone else in the screen but they just didn't know.
"That was a good try Neal." Charming encouraged his son. "Give it another shot buddy. You're not changing the channel, you're getting us out." How much of this was an eight month old really taking in? None of them knew, but they had to try. Again, Neal blinked, but this time they seemed to end up in the middle of an episode of The Simpsons. It was incredibly strange being real people mixed in with animated, yellow, cartoons.
"Another good try baby." Snow tried this time. "Give it another shot."
Snow, Charming and Emma were eventually sure they'd travelled through every TV show in existence. But then, finally, Neal seemed to get them out. The first thing Snow did was turn the TV off and stick the remote right on top of the cabinet. It would not be getting turned back on for some time!
