Pirate duel
Jade star asked for a oneshot of an 18 year old Henry duelling Blackbeard and collapsing afterwards.
"Is that all you've got boy?" The pirate guffawed. Henry staggered back to his feet- determined to stop the evil pirate from whatever trouble he intended on causing in Storybrooke. His chest heaved heavily and his heart pounded so hard in his chest that it was all he could hear properly- he could almost feel it through his gums. Sweat was causing his hair to plaster to his forehead- but he refused to give in. Not until he knew the pirate wasn't going to be a problem. Both his grandpa and Henry had taught him how to use a sword well, but the evil pirate had far more years experience.
"Well you're either very brave, or very stupid." Blackbeard spat. He lunged his sword at Henry's chest again and Henry only just managed to dodge out of the way.
"Neither." Henry panted. "I just won't have some crackpot pirate try and take over my town!" Henry spied an opportunity. He saw a piece of pipe lying nearby where one of the houses was under construction. He used a final surge of energy to kick to pipe over to Blackbeard who stumbled over it. Henry was upon him in a flash with his sword pointing at his throat. "Leave." Henry growled. "And never return." With no other option, Blackbeard had to admit defeat. Henry didn't allow himself to relax at all until his ship went safely through a new portal at the dock. But when Henry did relax, he found his whole body was on the verge of a meltdown. His vision went black, and Henry collapsed.
The next thing Henry knew he was at home in bed with both his moms and his grandparents standing over him, relieved to see he was awake. They kept telling him how brave he'd been and how amazing her was. But Henry didn't see himself as anything like that. He just did the right thing, as he always would.
