Always protective- part 2

A guest asked for a oneshot of a follow up to "Always protective" with Snow.

"Mom it's not funny!" Emma protested. "I feel a bit like dad's going to be watching us on every date we go on. How am I meant to do, well, anything with Killian if he's sticking his oar in?" Snow raised an eyebrow at Emma.

"Sorry honey but I think that's precisely his point." Emma groaned and overdramatically thumped her head off the table.

"I'm thirty." She grumbled. I cannot have an overprotective dad when I am thirty years old."

"Overprotective parents." Snow corrected her.

"Overprotective parents." Emma corrected herself without even thinking. But then she did think, and she realised what her mom was saying. She lifted her head up from the table and stared at her.

"Oh come on mom not your too!" Emma protested. "I thought moms were meant to be all for their daughters going out there and finding a nice man. Surely you aren't out for Killian's guts as well?" Snow smiled and sat opposite Emma.

"Neither your father or I are out for Killian's guts." She told her daughter. "And I do like him, which admittedly is more than can be said for your father but in his defence he wouldn't like anyone dating his girl." Emma pulled a face at that remark. She was nobody's girl, at least not in her own opinion. "But if he so much as makes my daughter cry I will unleash such a can of whoop ass on him he won't know what's hit him. And that's before your father gets to him." Emma rolled her eyes.

"Do neither of you realise that I am perfectly capable of keeping my own men in line?" Snow gently stroked a finger down Emma's cheek.

"We know you can. But do you not realise that you are our incredibly special baby girl and we won't have you getting hurt?" Emma sighed. This was clearly not going to change any time soon!
