Mother vs son

A guest and snoopykid asked for a oneshot of Henry saving his grandparents from a dark Emma.

"Please don't make me do this." Henry pleaded, Mulan's magic deflecting sword clutched tightly in his fists.

"Then stand aside." Emma growled as she stared past Henry to where her parents stood. She'd frozen them to the spot with her magic, ready to incinerate them.

"They're your parents. You love them." Henry tried to remind her. Snow and Charming wanted to move desperately. They didn't want Henry involved in this, he was too young. Emma's mind was warped by Rumplestiltskin and the author, she wasn't herself and Snow and Charming didn't believe she'd stop. Not even for Henry. They'd never forgive themselves if he got hurt defending them.

"They need to pay for what they did to Maleficent's daughter." Emma snarled as she took a step closer. Henry raised the sword, his whole body shaking.

"Then you leave me no choice." He said sadly. "When you're back to being yourself you will understand." Emma's eyes met Henry's. Deep sadness meeting fiery anger.

"Then you will fall as well." She growled. Henry watched as his mom snappily created a fireball identical to one of Regina's and aimed it at him. Snow and Charming could both feel their hearts pounding in their chests. Fortunately Henry had earned his grandfather's ability for sword fighting (along with some lessons). He was able to fight his way closer to Emma and slice through a section of her arm. Emma gasped in agony. Henry felt terrible for hurting his mom, but knew he had no choice. It was this or kill her. When she was injured he took out the bag of poppy seeds Mulan had also given him and blew them into his mom's face. She instantly passed out and her parents were released from her spell. They came rushing over and Snow took her grandson into a fierce hug.

"Are you alright?" She asked him. He nodded and gently pushed her off.

"I'm fine, the sword meant she couldn't hit me. But we need to get my mom to Blue quickly. She'll be able to heal her arm and hopefully her mind…or at least be able to restrain her until we can." Charming wasted no time in first ripping off his jacket and wrapping it around Emma's wound. He then delicately picked her up and sprinted off with Snow and Henry following closely behind. They had to get her to Blue before the poppy seeds wore off.

Fortunately the family were able to get Emma to the Blue Fairy before the seeds' effect wore off. Blue quickly healed her arm and got to work on the damage Rumplestiltskin and the author had inflicted. The family could see Emma flinching in her sleep as Blue worked on her.

"Please, you're hurting her." Charming said. He didn't like seeing his daughter in pain.

"There is no other way if you ever wish Emma to return to normal." Blue said calmly without stopping the flow of magic from her hands to Emma's head. Charming nodded grimly. He took both Snow and Henry into his arms so they could seek comfort from each other whilst Emma went through Blue's process.

Eventually Blue took her hand away and nodded to the family. She stepped back from Emma to allow them to come and see her. Snow, Charming and Henry all crept over to where Emma lay as her eyes blinked open.

"Where am I?" Emma croaked. "What's going on?"

"Shh." Charming whispered, reaching down and stroking Emma's cheek. "We'll explain later. All that matters right now is that you're alright." Emma didn't have the energy to question her family more. She couldn't even keep her eyes open. Snow, Charming and Henry were happy for Emma to rest now, knowing everything was well again.
