Happy birthday Neal
FictionLover12 asked for a oneshot of Emma going to Bae's grave.
"I still can't believe you're gone." Emma sniffed as she placed the little dreamcatcher on top of the grave stone. "I still expect to see you one day with that cheeky grin hoping you'll not be in trouble for making me believe you were dead." Emma hastily wiped away the tears from her eyes. She knew if she allowed herself to cry she'd never stop. She crouched down and gently rested her hand against the cool hard stone. "I need you to know…you were my Tallahassee. No matter what I find with anyone else it will never be the same. You gave me my son, and he brought me to the rest of my family. So that's all down to you that I have parents, a brother and our wonderful son. Neal I can never thank you enough for all of that. My parents did their best by naming the little man after you but that will never be enough. Henry and I will make sure he knows everything about you. Henry will show him all the pictures of you from his book and read out all the stories and I'll tell him all our stories. Well, all the ones appropriate for a kid anyway." Emma said with a sad smile. Emma knew she couldn't stay for much longer, it was too much. But she had to come today, she couldn't leave Neal alone on his birthday. "I miss you Neal- every day." Emma stood up and again wiped away some stray tears. "I hope you like your present." She whispered before walking back towards her bug- their bug. It was the reason Emma would never get rid of that car, it reminded her of him.
