A fresh start- part 2

A guest asked for a oneshot of a sequel to "A fresh start".

"You really didn't have to do this." Emma said, not quite sure what she felt as she came back home from getting the kid some diapers the next day after moving in with Mary Margaret and finding that the woman had gone and bought a whole baby store.

"Of course I did- couldn't have this little cutie living out of his car seat now could I?" Snow replied tickling the little boy under his chin.

"I was going to get it all as soon as I found a job here. It wouldn't have taken too long I'm sure. I'll pay you back as soon as I can." Emma replied slightly coldly. She didn't need charity off of strangers. How was she to know this was her mother?

"Oh really there's no need." Snow said quickly. She should have bought all this for Emma, not her child. She had bought all this for Emma. "It's just nice to have some new people in town who can use the baby stuff. We haven't had a new baby for years."

"I saw some blond chick look like she was about to pop." Emma pointed out. Of course- Cinderella. Snow of course hadn't realised until now.

"Yeah, that's true. This little man will have himself a playmate! Speaking of little man, does he have a name?" Snow asked her daughter. Emma shrugged, she hadn't had time to think of one before bolting from the hospital. Maybe best not to tell Mary Margaret that- she'd just come up with one now.

"Uhh…" Emma spied the hoover sticking out of the cupboard. "Henry." She said quickly. "This is Henry Swan." Snow stroked a finger down the little boy's cheek. Her little grandson. Her daughter- still so young. Just a teenager. She would look after them. Be the mom she was meant to be all along. And along with all of that- she would find where Regina stuck her husband. He deserved to meet his family. Regina had not won- Snow had her happy ending right in front of her. Her beautiful daughter and her adorable little grandson. She just needed her husband and it was all complete. Good. Always. Wins.
