Baby number three- part 2
A guest asked for a oneshot of a sequel to "Baby number three".
"Mom!
"Mom!" Snow heard the two screams from somewhere in the castle and knew immediately which of her five children were arguing- her two daughters. Emma and Rosie seemed to be going through a bit of a rough patch in their relationship. The fifteen and twelve year old just didn't see eye to eye at all right now. Snow quickly finished getting ready for the day before heading down to where she heard them yelling from to see what the commotion was about this time. In the dining room Emma and Rosie stood back to back with their arms folded tightly across their chests both looking furious. Snow found it almost comical how near identical they looked besides Emma's blond waves and Rosie's straight black hair.
"What is it this time?" Snow sighed. Both started talking over the top of each other until Snow raised her hand which they both knew meant silence. "There, that's better. I can't understand if you both speak at once can I? Emma you went first during your last spat so Rosie, you're up."
"Mom she keeps bugging me to go out with her and do archery or sword fighting or whatever sport she's doing that day. No matter how many times I politely say no it's never enough." Snow could see the frustration building in her younger daughter's eyes. She turned to Emma to hear her side of things.
"I just don't want her cooped up in here all day reading. It's the middle of July, the middle of summer, it's beautiful outside! Besides, the boys never want to do anything sporty with me. They're too frightened they'll lose." Snow smiled sadly.
"What happened to you two? You used to be so close." Emma had always been very protective of her little sister, and Rosie had always looked up to Emma. But clearly as they were growing up they were growing apart. Both just shrugged in reply. The truth was Emma was quite the outdoor extrovert whilst Rosie was a quiet little introvert. "Why don't you think of some compromise activities you can do together? Like things you used to do when you were little. Scoot about the ballroom in your socks, have a quiet picnic in the garden, anything. Just because you're different types of people doesn't mean you can't enjoy doing things together. I love you book equally, don't I?" Snow watched as they both shuffled their feet uncomfortably, she could tell they needed some space to chat. "Now that I know a war isn't about to break out I'm going to get some paperwork done. Enjoy the sun girls." Snow said before leaving the room. She did glance back though and her heart warmed to see her two baby girls embracing. She loved her children so much- it was nice to see they loved each other too.
