Saviour villain

PilerMorgenstern asked for a oneshot of Emma secretly being dark and helping the villains. Charming finds out and has a deep talk with her.

Charming had been noticing for a week now. Emma thought because she was so good at detecting lies in other people nobody could tell when she was lying. But Charming could see right through her just now. She was putting on a happy face for her family- acting like all was forgiven and in the past. But Charming could see the burning fury in her eyes- and knew that when she was doing "errands" or "paperwork" she was with the villains. Emma was becoming one of them. Charming refused to let that happen. Villains never get their happy endings and he'd be damned if Emma didn't get hers after everything she'd been through. One evening when Snow was out with Neal visiting Ella, Thomas and Alex and Henry was staying with Regina he came into the living room where Emma was watching TV and switched it off.

"Hey!" Emma complained. "I was watching that!"

"Yeah well now you're talking to me." Charming said sternly as he dragged a stool over in front of where Emma was sitting on the couch and sat down. Emma's eyes narrowed.

"You know." She said coldly. Charming nodded. Emma got up to leave the house but Charming gently but firmly grabbed her arm and made her sit back down. "Get your hands off me!" Emma snapped.

"Emma you are not leaving this house until I know that you are never going near those villains again. They're poison Emma. They're going to destroy your heart…"

"Don't blame them. I think you and Snow saw to that when you sacrificed a baby's soul in my name."

"Snow? Emma she's your mother…"

"Not anymore." Emma snarled. "I have no parents." Charming felt like he'd been stabbed several times in the chest.

"That is so far from the truth." He said, fighting not to cry. "You have two parents who love you more than you will ever know. Emma we've made mistakes and trust me, working with the villains is a mistake too. Be mad at us all you want but don't do this. You know villains never get happy endings and you deserve one more than any of us."

"With my magic they'll get their happy endings." Emma stated. "And so will I- and hint, it doesn't involve you." Charming wanted to reach forward and hold her, but knew that would be a terrible idea just now.

"Emma if you never want to speak to your mother and I again we would understand. We would be miserable without you in our lives but we would understand. But please, you are better than stooping to their level. You have a heart of gold Emma. Their hearts are dead. Please, don't do this to your heart. Even Regina's not working with them, she knows now that it makes things worse. Think of Henry! You can't be a villain and have him." Charming could see something about that statement got through to Emma. She shot up from the couch and stormed out of the house without saying a word. Charming didn't follow after her- he could tell she was going to make the right decision.
