Fight
A few people asked for this- but guessing by the fact they were all near identical in wording I'm guessing it was the same person asking for it. Once will do it- no need to repeat haha. Anyway, here is Emma running away at age 12. Snow finding her and they fight before Emma gets grounded.
"Shit shit shit." Emma muttered as she tried to pack her leg with some of the herbs she'd brought in her satchel before binding it with a bandage. She'd been running away from home when she'd tripped over a root. She'd fallen against a rather sharp stone and now had a deep cut in her leg from her hip right down her thigh to the knee. She didn't have time for this nonsense, she wished she'd been more careful. As Emma heard the sound of horse hooves behind her she groaned in frustration. She was caught. Emma tried to wobble to her unsteady feet to hop away…
"Stay right where you are." Her mother's stern voice warned her. Emma was still furious though.
"What are you going to do?" Emma snapped. Snow stormed over and towered over Emma.
"You're already grounded Emma, don't push your luck." Snow warned her. She took the bandage off of Emma's leg. "You've packed it well with herbs, at least you've been paying attention in one class."
"Well sorry that I'm not interested in some stupid old fart lecturing me about calculus!" Emma yelled. Snow's eyes narrowed dangerously.
"Don't you be so rude Emma Ruth. You think I always enjoyed calculus? Or any of the other subjects- geography, arithmetic, politics, literature, ancient history of Misthaven, I know that they're all boring. But maybe if you paid attention in the likes of geography you would have known more about the forest ground and not fallen and injured yourself. What were you thinking Emma? Anything could have happened to you alone out here. You didn't even bring your bow with you!
"I was thinking screw that stupid castle and screw being a bloody princess. I didn't really care where I ended up. Now if you can go back to your castle and leave me to get on with my life that would be much appreciated." If Snow wasn't so angry at Emma she would have smiled at her naivety that a girl as young as her would make it alone out here when she was one of Regina's main targets. "Besides, it's not like you can do anything just now. I'm going to stay here to let my leg heal and I'm too big for you to- what the Hell are you doing?!" Emma shrieked as her mom suddenly picked her up bridal style.
"I was a bandit Emma- I had to have some muscles." Snow pointed out as she carried Emma over to the horse. She managed to get one hand around the horse's reins to get it lie down for Snow to get Emma on its back. When she was on behind her Snow wrapped a vice like grip around Emma's middle in case she decided to kick up a fuss. It would affect Emma's grounding if she was trampled by a horse which would impact the discipline just a tad.
