Another magical world

2 asked for a oneshot of Emma teaching Henry about Harry Potter.

"I still can't believe you've not read these or even seen the movies what with you being the magical one of the house." Emma said as she thumped the large pile of books onto the coffee table. "So, you've got seven books: The Philosopher's Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows. The last book was split into two movies. It's all about a magical school called Hogwarts in a castle in Scotland. This kid Harry-"

"And his two best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger." Henry said with a slight eye roll as he picked up the first book to inspect it. "I might not have read them but I know the basic story mom. Anyway, thanks for brining your collection over- I can't wait to get started!" He said as he opened the first book. Emma reached over and ruffled his hair.

"You're in for a magical adventure kid. There's so many awesome characters. Severus Snape, the moody potions master. Albus Dumbledoor the kooky headmaster. Minerva McGonagall the strict but always fair head of Gryffindor house. Oh that's right, there are four houses: Gryffindor for the brave, Slytherin for the cunning, Hufflepuff for the loyal and hardworking (AN also the best house- mine!) and Ravenclaw for the clever clogs. Each house has awesome people in it. Gryffindor is where Harry and his friends mainly are but that doesn't mean the other houses don't have cool people. Even Slytherin, the known bad house, has good people like Horace Slughorn. Ravenclaw has this really sweet girl called Luna Lovegood who's a bit wacky but really nice. Hufflepuff has Nymphadora Tonks who is extremely cool. There are cool creatures in there too like Dobby, Kreature and Winky the house elves and all the centaurs like Firenze and Bane. Oh and the ghosts! Each house has their own but there's other ones too like Moaning Myrtle and Peeves the poltergeist…" Emma stopped when she realised Henry wasn't responding to anything she was saying. She saw that he was already entranced in Harry's magical world. Smiling to herself, she got up quietly and left him to enjoy.

"The stories we love best do live in us forever, so whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." J.K. Rowling.
