Fight- part 2

A few people have asked for a part two of "Fight".

peace: What chapter # is "A typical teen"?

Emma sighed as she tried to twist the doorknob of her parents' bedroom door to find it locked.

"Great." She grumbled.

"Well where exactly would you need to be going in the middle of the night?" Emma jumped, she hadn't realised her mom was awake. Emma's grip tightened on the knob, she was not a baby who needed twenty four hour watching!

"My own damn room." Emma hissed. Snow got up and crossed to where Emma was standing.

"One: language." Snow said in that dangerous voice that Emma knew meant she had gone too far. "Two: drop the attitude and the tone. Three: you aren't going anywhere. You are both grounded and still recovering and have thus far shown that you cannot be trusted to be left alone without trying to do something stupid- like sneaking off in the middle of the night. Is it really any surprise that I locked the door Emma?" Snow asked her. Emma's nose twitched and her eyes narrowed but she didn't speak. She knew if she opened her mouth she would begin to yell and she was already grounded for long enough without yelling at her mom. Instead she stormed back to the bed and hid herself under the covers so she didn't even have to look at her mom. Snow calmly got back into the other side of the bed. She hated being this firm with Emma leading to her daughter refusing to speak to her- but needs must to keep her safe.
