Good witch bad witch
A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma and Zelena growing up together in Oz and becoming a badass witch duo even when Emma goes to Storybrooke and meets her real parents. I've made Zelena about 7 or 8 years older than Emma.
"I still don't know why you insist on seeing them so often." Zelena grumbled as Emma waltzed back into their cabin on the edge of town. "Pair of complete nitwits." Emma rolled her eyes, she was used to her adoptive sister's jealousy now. Well, she'd always been used to it. Even as children Zelena didn't like Emma having any other friends. Not that the other children wanted to be friends with Emma. They knew her sister was Zelena- and Zelena was not a nice child. Which was unfortunate as Emma was. She was a kind, gentle child who was loyal to her sister. Zelena may have been wicked but she loved Emma dearly and would do anything to protect her. The pair had an unbreakable bond despite their clear differences in personality. Emma often joked how instead of good cop bad cop they were good witch bad witch.
"You know why I see them. I see them because they're my parents and they love me, and I love them. It's not their fault your sister went psycho on them and wanted to kill me. Besides, if they hadn't send me through the wardrobe you wouldn't have got your kickass little sister so quit complaining." Emma said, gently poking Zelena's shoulder. Zelena couldn't respond- she knew that was true.
"I just don't want to see you get hurt by them again." Zelena said more seriously. "I know you're putting all your hopes into finding yourself through them, and I don't want them to let you down. I don't think their blood would come out of my dress." Emma sat down opposite Zelena and placed her hand on top of hers.
"They won't." Emma said gently. "But just because I love them and spending time with them doesn't mean I suddenly drop you as my sister. Z, you're my big sister and I love you, I always will, alright?" Zelena nodded and Emma squeezed her hand. "Good. Now that that's sorted, do your sisterly duty and make me some dinner."
