One thing on their minds
EvilRegal13 asked for a oneshot of Snowing finding out Emma lost her virginity around 11 or 12 so warning, this could get a little deep.
"I can't believe he's going on his first date!" Snow said pacing. "It seems like it was only yesterday he was running around with a foam sword saying that no girls were ever allowed in his fort. I hope he realises I'm holding him to that statement." Snow grumbled. Charming chuckled.
"Snow, would you relax? Neal's only fourteen. Yeah he's beginning to get an interest in girls but I doubt very much that he's thinking about going that far." Emma snorted from where she sat watching TV causing both her parents to look over to her.
"What's that meant to mean?" Snow asked her. Emma shrugged her shoulders.
"Trust me, men are born thinking from the downstairs. What dad means is he won't act on it because you've raised a gentleman, but Neal one hundred percent thinks about it." Emma told them. Snow and Charming were curious now. Was that a bitter undertone in her voice? They carefully moved over to her.
"What makes you so sure they think like that from a young age?" Snow asked as subtly as possible. Emma bit her lip- she'd said too much.
"Go on Emma." Charming prompted her. Emma shrugged her shoulders, she knew they were going to keep at it until they got an answer so there was no point in hiding it.
"I went on my first date when I was twelve and the guy was thirteen. He definitely had it on his mind." Emma grumbled. Snow and Charming both felt like they'd been hit by a tsunami. They realised exactly what Emma was saying.
"When you were twelve?" Snow croaked. Emma nodded.
"Yeah, I thought he loved me like the naïve kid that I was. I learned pretty quickly after that happened that was all boys wanted from girls. I thought if I put up with it the first time it would be easier after that…that's what he told me anyway." Emma snorted. "Like he was some experienced sexual guru." Charming felt like he was going to be sick. His baby girl…twelve? No, that couldn't be right. Why wasn't someone there to keep her safe…why wasn't he there? Snow of course knew the pain Emma was referencing. She at least had a husband who loved her and wanted to make it as comfortable as possible. Emma had some randy, horny teenager who- as Emma had said- was only interested in one thing. "I should be grateful he at least wore a condom." Emma sneered. "Twelve and pregnant. If that doesn't scream slapper I don't know what does-"
"Emma stop." Snow told her, placing her hands on Emma's shoulders. "You were a child who had nobody to keep you safe. You were used and it was not your fault." Charming nodded whilst pacing the length of the room, he was still furious at this boy's nerve regardless of his own age or how long ago it was. "I know you can't forgive him, I can understand that. Your father and I weren't even there and we cannot forgive this disgusting boy for taking our daughter's virtue before she was even of age to consent, but you do have a choice to not let his actions define who you are now. You are no slapper, Emma Swan. You are in no way "easy" ".
"Your mother's right." Charming added. "And if I were to catch anybody saying that about you I'd punch their teeth in. My girl is a precious gem- a diamond- and she will be treated as such." Charming said sternly. "I will make sure of it." Emma smiled weakly. Her eyes flickered to the TV.
"Oh look, the new episode of Big Bang Theory is about to start. I love that show. Penny's awesome. Sheldon drives me up the wall but then again so does Leonard for being a whiny nerd. Howard's a total creep and Raj is a little on the too weird side…" Emma began to ramble. Her parents realised that this was purely a defensive mechanism meaning she couldn't talk about it anymore.
"I just feel bad for Amy having to put up with Sheldon. And Bernadette definitely has little person syndrome." Snow said, indicating that it was ok to not want to talk about it anymore.
"What about that Emily though? She gives me the creeps!" Charming added, showing his own acceptance. The topic may have been dropped, but it was certainly not forgotten by any of the three involved in the conversation. As Hook would find out when he next appeared to take Emma on a date and found her parents threatening him within an inch of his life.
