Eiko didn't think there could be a more beautiful place than Rivendell. Nor creatures as beautiful as elves. She was wrong.

"You broke the little one, Yavanna." – A being that her eyes couldn't properly describe spoke and Eiko suddenly became aware that she was staring at the woman? Elf? None of these words seemed to fit the being of beauty before her.

She laughed and Eiko decided then and there that she needed to be friends with her. Of course, there were other very beautiful beings, but Eiko decided that she was the most beautiful of them all.

"Wow! You are soooooooo beautiful!"– Eiko exclaimed, running towards her, observing the light that everything about her emitted. - "Well, all of you are! But lady, you're like, super-mega-wonderful! What is your hair made of? What are you? Can we be friends? Where are we? Wow, your eyes look like fire! And yours look like stars, amaziiing! My sister has red eyes, you know?"

Eiko couldn't contain herself, something about they made her excited and full of energy; she jumped from one place to another asking questions in one breath while marveling at that dream (?). If it was a dream, it was the best kind, because they were gentle and full of warm light and love. Her mind couldn't quite comprehend the features of any of them, because they looked more like beauties of nature than distinguishable shapes and she was happy when Mr. Cloud (his hair looked like cloud ) let her play with his hair. They were very soft. Even more soft than Gloriu's hair.

They were also great singers and she enthusiastically applauded each song she heard, happy and invigorated. The Powers – as she has decided to name them in her mind – are curious about her and ask her about her life. Kana said not to trust strangers, but she couldn't stop talking about everything and everyone she loved with those wonderful beings. She knows she can trust them. They were good.

"... and then Kana went away to get my brothers back and left me with the elves and they are amazing! Especially Eri, Hally, and Glorius! But Hally was disappearing. And! And! I managed to use chakra! Do you believe that?" – She squeaks, happy.

Time passes quickly there, in their presence and even if she doesn't want to, at one point she gets tired, which is funny because wasn't she dreaming? So why was she sleepy?
Oh, well, that didn't really matter. The Queen of Flowers let her snuggle up to sleep and Eiko smiled sleepily as she asked:

"You're a mother, aren't you? You have the aura of a mother. It's even better than Kana's, but don't tell her." – There is a crystal clear laugh from the Queen and Eiko sleeps.

Eri is by her side. He looks worried and old, even though his face is still young. But all the elves looked old anyway.

"Eri..." – She says and the elf stirs and Eiko is surprised by the sudden hug that the older gives her.

"Eiko, thanks to Eru, you woke up! Don't ever scare us like that again, child!" – He scolds the little mortal, his heart becoming relieved now that she was conscious.

"Although, maybe not as mortal as we thought." – He thinks, remembering the words on the parchment he read, Kana's instructions. Eiko closes her eyes, breathing in Eri's scent, content. She is then confused when he tenses and breaks the hug and gives her The Look of Reprimand.

"Don't use your chakra, young lady. That's what got you in trouble, you're banned from using it often." – He reprimands and only then does Eiko notice the greenish layer covering her skin and the surprise interrupts the flow of chakra.

"I don't think Eiko can control it yet, though." – A new voice sounds and an elf is entering the room. He is the "king". Eiko frowns in confusion, remembering everything that happened before the dream and widens her eyes:

"Hally! Is she all rigth? She didn't disappear while I was sleeping, did she?" – Eiko questioned, already tearing up at the possibility of not seeing her friend again. Elrond approaches the little girl, standing on the edge of the bed and taking her little hand gently.

"Your friend is fine, she didn't disappear and she won't disappear anytime soon after what you did."

"What did I do?" – Eiko asks, wide-eyed and confused.

"You healed Halleth. Like no one in these lands has ever managed to do. You cured an elf's fëa." – The youngest smiled radiantly, even when Elrond reprimanded her severely:

"That was dangerous, Eiko. What you did left you sleeping for many days. Lady Kana would be very sad if something happened to you."

"You're not going to tell her, are you? I don't like it when Kaa-chan is sad, it makes me sad too." – Eiko said, apprehensively. – "Besides, I didn't know I could do that. I've never used chakra before, I don't know how I did it."

"I see." – Elrond exchanged a look with Erestor. – "It's as Lady Kana instructed in the parchments. Eiko really can't control it."

"Wait, did Kaa-chan know that I can use chakra?" – Eiko tilted her head, confused.

"Lady Kana wasn't sure, but she let us know the possibility." – Eri answers her and Eiko realizes that there are more things that the elves are not telling her. They look worried. She frowns.

"What else did she say?"

" Worry not about it, little one. Is nothing. Now, about this healing touch of yours, maybe I can do something about it..." – He seems to consider.

"Elves are terrible liars. But okay, I'll not ask more about it."– She says and Eri laughs with exasperation. Even Elrond smiles at the youngest's brutal honesty.

"Scolded for being bad at lying by a child. How far have we come, huh, my lord?" – Erestor jokes.

Halleth really was absolutely healed.

And very happy, Eiko thinks, delighted, when she sees her friend again. The elf laughs and hugs her. She has a lot of energy and looks younger, even though her appearance was still the same. Eiko's new routine is really nice, with "king" Elrond teaching her things that have to do with healing others and he is very patient and kind, just like his daughter. Eri still taught her about letters and numbers and history (she had a lot of stories to learn), but now he was even more in her life, since he moved her guest room to one in his house. A room that was hers, truly hers, designed with great affection and care, with the things she liked most: the color yellow was everywhere in the room, sunflowers (her favorite flowers of all time) in beautiful vases, a softer bed than the previous one and it even had a wooden Raijin toy! Oh, not to mention the ceiling full of shiny dots that looked like stars.

The bad part was that Hally didn't sleep with her anymore, but her friend still went to see her every day, helping her get dressed and accompanying her all the time, also teaching her how to be like an elf of Eri's house, even though Eiko is not sure what that means. She questions him exactly that one night, when he is telling her a bedtime story in her room.

"Hally and my other friends said I'm practically of your house now. Is it because I live with you and dress in blue and this tree here?" – Eiko points to the edge of the sleeve of her sleeping dress.

"Yes, Eiko." – He hummed gently and looked at her solemnly, something in the way he looked at her made Eiko realize that whatever Eri was going to say next was important. – "I have already received approval from my lord and once Kana returns, I have every intention of making you part of my household. I want you to bee my family."

"What... what... does that mean?" – Eiko asks, a huge emotion taking over her heart while Eri looks at her as... as if...

"I want to be your father, Eiko. Do you accept me?"

"Father."

The child lets out a breath she didn't realize she was holding.

"He wants to be my father."

Eiko feels tears in her eyes. His heart is so happy, so happy, so happy that it feels like it's going to explode.

"Eiko?"– She hears Eri call her, worried, and the next moment she sees herself jumping into his lap and sticking to him like glue. She sniffles and can't speak, she can't express the things that are in her chest right now, so she keeps hugging and crying at the same time.

She had never felt this way. It seems like a dream and Eiko realizes that he had given her the thing she wanted most in the whole world.

"F...Father. Father. Father."– Her voice breaks, as she repeats the word.

"I'm here, my child. I am here."

And if Eri holds her tighter and cries a little too, well, so be it.

"Lord Elrond, Lord Elrond, did I do it right this time?" – Eiko asks, tilting her head and waiting for her teacher's judgment.

She was in the greenhouse, taking plant lessons from Lord Elrond (despite what Eri...Father said – in Eiko's head he was still King Elrond). The older elf watched the little girl's progress, a simple mixture of herbs for minor injuries, and nodded.

"You did a good job, Lalaith." – Elrond tells her and Eiko swells with pride, a bright smile on her face. For the praise and for the name her father had given her: Lalaith. It meant laughter and joy, he told her. Because she was happy and spread joy too.

"I wish Kaa-chan was here, so she could see how much I'm learning! And that now I have an Ada!"

Eiko pauses in her excitement and Elrond watches her become a little dejected. He can imagine what caused this. The half-elf ruffles Eiko's hair:

"Lady Kana will be here when we least expect it. I'm sure she will be happy to see how well you are growing up and so many wonderful things are happening to you."

She hums softly but still looks thoughtful. Elrond waits as the youngest seems to finally be able to find the words she is looking for.

"I feel sad for Kaa-chan. She also didn't have a dad or a mom. I didn't have it before, but now I have Eri and her. But Kaa-chan never had anyone, you know? Nobody at all. No one ever took care of her or cared so much, no one protected her when she was a child and she didn't want to hurt or get hurted, but it was her duty and she couldn't refuse..."

Elrond blinked slowly, reflecting on the information.

"It must have been difficult for her. But now she has you and your brothers and I'm sure she knows how much you love her."

Eiko widens her eyes and looks at him with her mouth wide open.

"But... but... I never said I loved her. She never said that to me... not to Kaka, not to Riki... We said that to each other all the time, but for some reason we just... we didn't say that to her, I don't know why... I don't think anyone ever said I love you for Kaa-chan!"

Elrond pauses, surprised. If that were true, it was really very sad.

"She knows. Even if you never said it in words, she knows. Just like you don't doubt her love either, even after you realize she never said it out loud to you."

Eiko sighs, a little calmer. But her face is determined:

"When she comes back, it will be the first thing I say to her!"

"A good decision. There are no better words of welcome than an I love you from a child."

Hello! Sorry for the hiatus the time just passed by and I was procastinating writting and translating this for english above all.

Next update probably will be next weekend. Also, this is just the first adoption. I'm totally planning the other Uchihas getting father figures in their lives. Except Riki, he has Anya.
