Taking flight
snoopykid asked for a oneshot of the flight scene from "How to train your dragon" with Emma and Killian.
Emma screeched as the dragon suddenly took flight. She found herself tumbling back down his back with Killian seemingly oblivious to what Emma felt like was her imminent death. She managed to scramble back up the dragon's back and wrapped her arms around Killian's middle like a boa constrictor. Killian turned and peeked at her face. He couldn't help but laugh at how terrified she looked. Did Emma really think he'd simply let her plummet back to the ground without so much as a second glance? He was always in control, even if she didn't know it. Well if she wanted a fright he'd give her one. He pulled down on the dragon's reins and he spiralled down to the ground and into the sea below with Emma screaming blue murder the whole time. He had the dragon drop and skim the surface a few times before soaring back through the clouds…only to drop again once more. Killian loved the way the fright made Emma cling to him. He felt like her knight in shining armour- ready to protect her. Killian peeked once more to see that Emma's eyes were screwed shut. Well that was no fun. She would miss all the sights that way. He took the dragon to a more stable level and waited until Emma opened her eyes. He smiled at the wonder they held. Emma reached above her and let her hand skim along the cool clouds. She never knew nature could be this beautiful from so high up. She threw caution to the wind and put both hands in the air. Killian chuckled at her.
"Having fun lass?" He asked her. Emma smiled back.
"Now that I don't fear for my life." She replied. Killian grinned at her. He got this date spot on. Hopefully this would mean many more to come with his Swan.
