All-nighter
Alex asked for a oneshot of Snow getting mad at Emma and a teenaged Neal for staying up late because Emma has work and Neal has school the next day.
"I cannot believe the pair of you!" Emma scorned her children. Emma and Neal sat together on the couch at least having the decency to look guilty. They'd got so engrossed in their Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movie marathon that they forgot the time. Their mom only noticed because she'd woken up needing to go to the bathroom. Snow was furious. This was the second time. The pair had promised after the great Star Wars telling off that it would never happen again.
"Neal you have school tomorrow. You have a computing exam to be getting prepared for! And Emma, you're at work tomorrow and you know your dad is still away on that course so you're holding the fort alone!"
"It's not even that late." Neal grumbled bravely. Emma nudged him harshly in the side.
"Neal it's nearly three in the morning!" Snow shrieked. Snow began to pace to try and calm herself down, but it wasn't really working. Neal knew if he didn't do well on this exam he might not be able to sit the final exam in the summer. And who knows what dangerous thing could happen on Emma's shift tomorrow whilst she was half-asleep?! "Couldn't these movies have waited to the weekend?" She asked.
"We're sorry mom." Emma said sheepishly. "We'll head straight to bed now…"
"Oh no you won't. First you will leave the living room and kitchen spotless. If it isn't when I come down for breakfast tomorrow I will be fuming. I will also be fuming if you two aren't ready to leave by your usual times. And no crankiness either. Is that clear?"
"Yes mom." The two said together. They knew better than to argue or take the mick when she was in this bad a mood…
