Heart to heart with dad
LyssLovesShules33 asked for a oneshot of the aftermath of Emma forgiving her parents. Emma being protective of her mom because of her head injury and having a heart to heart with her dad (for the couple of people who asked for the dad bit too).
Charming couldn't help but notice how clingy Emma had been with Snow ever since the incident with Lily the dragon. She was barely letting Snow do anything for herself. Emma had been dealing with Neal, cooking, cleaning you name it. It was nice to see Emma bonding with her mom, but Charming was worried Emma was frightened of losing them again. He decided to have a word whilst Snow was in the shower.
"Em?" Charming said. Emma looked up from where she was polishing the table. "Come and have a seat." Emma, intrigued, came and sat beside her dad. "You know your mom and I aren't going to leave or hurt you again, right?" He said. Emma's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.
"Um yeah, why?"
"I just wanted to make sure. You seem awful clingy with your mom lately." Emma shrugged.
"I just missed you both a lot whilst I was being huffy. It's the same reason I want us both to go on calls right now. I forgive you too. I missed you as well. I shouldn't have forgotten who you are either." Just wanting to hear it, Charming had to ask.
"And who's that?" Emma smiled up at her dad.
"My daddy." She said, chocked up. Charming couldn't hold it in any longer, he pulled Emma close to him into a warm embrace.
"Emma Swan do you know how loved you are?" He asked her. Emma smiled against her dad's chest.
"I'm beginning to get the gist."
