Tough little princess

thatnotmyname asked for a oneshot of a little Emma in the Enchanted Forest getting taught how to use a bow and arrow.

"I did it mama!" The seven year old proclaimed loudly. Snow bit her lip so she didn't laugh. True, Emma had managed to load the arrow into the bow and pull it back like they had practiced, but she hadn't got her little arrow with a sort of suction cup anywhere near the bullseye target painted onto the tree four feet in front of them. Instead it had gone shooting off to the left. But Snow couldn't dim the light sparkling in her baby girl's eyes.

"You sure did princess. Mama is super proud of you. Next time, why don't you try standing here?" Snow gently took Emma by the shoulders and moved her over to the right a few paces. Sure one day Snow would have to make sure that Emma could aim straight, especially if she was using the bow and arrows as a method for self-defence. But today she just wanted Emma to experience some success with the little bow to encourage her to keep up practicing. "Ok, go again." Emma once again slowly loaded the bow and pulled it back with a wobbling arm. Snow adored the way her little tongue pocked out when she concentrated. This time, Emma got it into the blue of the target. Emma whooped for joy and Snow picked her up and twirled her around.

"Take that bad guys!" Emma shouted proudly.

"That's right little lady. My baby is going to be kicking all kinds of butt in no time." Snow said, grinning. Snow was so proud of her little princess, tough, just like her parents.
