Unsuitable suitor
Sof asked for a oneshot of a teen Emma being mad at her dad because he doesn't approve of Killian as her boyfriend.
Just as a side note to some people: I will not be removing Charming from the tag in this story. This is a series of oneshot requests. If people are requesting mama Snow I write mama Snow. If people request daddy Charming I write daddy Charming. That's all there is to say on the matter.
"Are you being serious?!" Emma shrieked at her dad. "It's not your choice!"
"I do actually have a say, Emma. I am your father and you might think you're all grown up but sometimes I do know what's best for you. Killian is not the right boy for you. He's dangerous and only wants one thing. I will be damned before I let someone hurt you."
"You're wrong about him dad. Killian and I love each other. I want to stop this nonsense of suitor Balls and random foreign princes travelling here to see if we're a match. Killian is the one- I just know. One day Killian and I are going to marry each other…"
"Absolutely not!" Charming bellowed. "I will not be giving that sleazy pirate's son permission to marry my daughter!-"
"Well screw your permission then! Screw this entire kingdom! If you are so dead set against Killian and I being together I will live with him roaming the seven seas on his father's ship. I don't care where I am. All I care about is being with him." Emma went to storm out to pack her things, but her dad caught her arm. "Let me go." Emma hissed.
"Not until we sort this out." Charming sighed. "Emma, I don't like or trust Killian. But there is nothing worth losing you. If you insist on continuing your courtship with Killian then I will allow it. However you will not go anywhere unaccompanied by an escort of my choosing. Is that understood?" Emma gave her dad a short nod. Charming let Emma go and leave to calm herself down. He didn't like Killian- but truth be told he didn't like the idea of any man with his princess. But it was just one of the things he had to put up with as she grew up. No matter how painful.
