The most powerful force
A guest asked for a oneshot of the first curse being broken from a TLK between Emma and Jefferson.
"Emma, for so long my life has felt empty. When I found myself lost in one of Wonderland's many mazes I didn't feel anymore lost than I did inside my own head. I put it down to being mad. But then you stepped into town and we met. Then the lost feelings started to stop. You're like some sort of compass or map for me, Emma Swan. You have guided me home. I'm not the mad hatter anymore, I'm just Jefferson again. And all I want is you." Jefferson finished his passionate plead for Emma to stay in Storybrooke. He would get down on his knees and beg her to stay if he felt it would help. In truth the idea of leaving both Henry and Jefferson behind killed Emma, but she could not stay in this town, could she? Regina had made it very clear that she would call the authorities and have Emma thrown in jail if she did not leave. She had agreed to Emma being able to come back one Saturday a month to visit Henry, and that was better than nothing at all if she stayed. Emma had asked Jefferson to come with her, but he said that he couldn't leave. He hadn't told Emma about Grace in fear of her too thinking that he was crazy. But he couldn't leave without her. Emma knew that she had to go, but maybe just one kiss for the road… Without warning Emma closed the gap between them and pulled Jefferson into a passionate kiss. She gasped when she felt the pulse of bright light surge from them and cover the whole town in a matter of seconds.
"What was that?" Emma asked. Had Henry been right all along? Surely not…surely this wasn't magic?!
"You should go ask your son. Or maybe your parents if you bump into them on the way." Jefferson responded. Emma's mouth fell wide open. So he believed this too? Was it really true? "You broke the curse with the only thing strong enough- true love's kiss…with me." Jefferson explained to her. "Now you can have your family back- and I can too." Jefferson wasn't able to say anymore before Emma pulled him into another kiss. So this whole fairytale thing was real…and so were happy endings.
