Covering up- part 2

Alice asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch669 "Covering up" where Emma tells Snow she's scared.

A few months past and Emma's stomach was growing week by week. And with her growing stomach grew Emma's fear. Her family and the people in her kingdom had accepted the relatively young unmarried princess having a child, but Emma was struggling with the reality of becoming a mother. Snow knocked on Emma's bedroom door, snapping her from her thoughts.

"Lunch will be soon. Thought I'd give you enough time to waddle downstairs." Snow teased. She saw the paleness of Emma's skin- the redness around her eyes. "Emma have you been crying?" She asked. That was all it took for the teen to start crying again. "Woh there! What's wrong?!" Snow asked, rushing to Emma's side.

"What if I can't do this?" Emma wailed. "What if I'm an awful mother?" Snow took Emma's face in her hands.

"Emma, you're not going to be an awful mother. Trust me- as your mother I know. Do you think I wasn't terrified when I was about to give birth to you? I might have been a little older, but I had the same fears. I was worried you would deserve better, but you settle into the routines of motherhood." Snow placed her hand on top of Emma's swollen belly. "This baby is lucky to have you as their mama. Emma, your father and I are so proud of you, that will never change. We will be with you every step of the way- we will support you and our grandchild, ok? You're never going to be alone." Emma rested her head against her mother's shoulder. Emma knew there was just a connection between her and her mother- there always had been. She dearly hoped her mom was right and that she and her own child would have the same bond.
