Only one Charming
addicted2broadway89 asked for a oneshot of Charming speaking to Snow about loving his twin whilst Emma and Killian are upstairs.
Snow smiled warmly as her daughter barrelled up the stairs- her smile lighting up her whole face. She turned and shared her smile with Charming.
"There's nothing quite like love, is there?" Snow sighed.
"No, there isn't." Charming replied. But there was something off about his facial expression that caught Snow.
"What's wrong?" She asked. "It's not that she's with Killian, is it? Seriously Charming give the man a chance-"
"You loved James." Charming interrupted her. Snow fell silent. "You loved my twin in that alternate world…it makes me worry that had you met him first you would have loved him and not me." Charming admitted.
"Hey," Snow said, walking over and wrapping her arms around Charming's waist. "Charming we were made for each other- we're soulmates. It wouldn't have mattered if I had met the real Prince James at some point. Heck, I probably did during my childhood, but it doesn't matter, I would never have loved him like I love you. I don't care if you're so-called identical twins. You're not identical on the inside. I don't just love you for your devilishly handsome good looks, I love you for your charm, your caring side, your resilience…the list is endless. David you are my husband- you are the man I love and you are the only man I will ever love." Snow said. Charming reached a hand up and stroked her cheek before quickly swooping in and pulling his wife into a passionate kiss. He quickly glanced upstairs.
"…Do you think they'll be long?" He said, giving Snow a flash of that oh so charming grin she loved. Snow smiled back, grabbing a handful of his shirt.
"I don't think so…but we'll have all the time we need tonight."
