SassieSara Hail asked for a oneshot of Snow talking to a young Emma about sex and using protection after her first date with Killian. I've set this as though Emma broke the curse at a young age. The age of consent in the UK is 16 so that's what we're going with here too!
Emma leaned against the door with a stupid smile on her face. What-a-night. Killian was such a hottie. He made Emma's stomach burst into a flutter of butterflies when he so much as looked at her. And when he had kissed her goodbye…Emma's stomach nearly exploded with the excitement.
"Good time then?" A voice whispered, interrupting Emma from her train of thought. The teen jumped slightly before spotting her mother in the living room.
"Yeah." She sighed. "It was great…goodnight mom-"
"Wait Emma." Emma stopped moving towards the stairs and turned to face her mom. "Come back…I want to talk to you and I think it'll be easier while your dad's asleep." Emma wasn't sure exactly what her mom was on about, but there was no point in kicking up a fuss. She went and sat beside her on the couch. Snow smiled at Emma before placing some stray hair behind her ear.
"Listen honey, I know having your first boyfriend is a really exciting time- but it can also lead to regrets if you're not careful." Emma's face fell as she realised why her mom had called her back.
"Thanks mom but school covered this so if you don't mind…"
"Consider this revision then." Snow said. "Listen, you and Killian are both of age now. I know it won't be for a while if at all but I think we should talk about it just now. "First thing's first: Emma only you are in charge of your body. Do not ever feel pressured into doing something you don't want to do. Even if you start something and decide it's too much and want to stop that is ok too. That applies to Killian or any other partner too. You need to respect each other's limits and decisions. If you both do decide to have sexual intercourse then you're fortunate enough here to have the luxury of protection- use it. Unless you are in a stable relationship when you are older and have a steady job where you are actively trying to have a baby insist on the man wearing a condom. Don't take any nonsense about it hurting or not feeling natural- ask him if he thinks pregnancy doesn't hurt or feel normal. Make sure anything done is pleasurable for you too. Sex should be fun for both involved. Also, make sure your dad doesn't find out if you do both decide to hit a homerun. Unless you want Killian castrated- then feel free to tell him. That's all I've got to say for tonight honey. Do you have any questions?" Snow asked her daughter. Emma shook her head furiously.
"Oh heck no. Good night mom." Emma said, getting up and going up the stairs as fast as her legs would carry her.
