Everyone is unique- part 2
iFangirlii asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch681 "Everyone is unique" where Emma is in school aged 11 or 12.
Mary Margaret looked up when she felt a gentle tugging at her blouse sleeve. She smiled when she saw Emma looking back at her.
"You asked to see me?" Emma signed.
"Yes, I did." Snow replied. "This is your last month at Storybrooke Elementary. I want to know how you feel about moving to Junior High?" Emma shrugged.
"Nervous…and I'll miss you." Emma admitted. Miss Blanchard had always been her favourite teacher at the school, she had always seemed to understand Emma. Sometimes better than her own mom did. She didn't want to say goodbye. Mary Margaret didn't want to say goodbye to Emma either. She didn't know what is was, but there was something about the girl that made the school teacher feel…whole.
"I'm going to miss you too, Emma. But Storybrooke is a small town. We'll still see each other around. We can even arrange to meet up at Granny's or something so you can tell me how you're getting on. How does that sound?"
"Alright, I guess." Emma replied, not really liking the idea. Mary Margaret smiled at the girl.
"It's going to be ok, Emma." She promised her. "You are a remarkable girl, and the Junior High will be lucky to have you as a student. Remember there are people there to help if people are being nasty." She reminded Emma. Truth be told, Mary Margaret was worried too, but more because she felt so connected to Emma. She didn't want to lose that connection. Neither knew just how connected they were.
