Her rock

Shievi asked for a oneshot of something connected to "I never thought I could fall in love again, until I saw you walking in the rain." So for this I've used rain in the metaphoric sense of sad times.

fangirl99: I'm afraid I said I wouldn't write any more drabbles on Emma showing people childhood videos :/

To my fellow Europeans (and Australians- although no offense but I'm still not quite sure why you were in the competition! Also- consider the UK not talking to you for no points lol) I hope you enjoyed Eurovision yesterday and congratulations on your win Sweden! Grattis på din vinst och vi ser fram emot att du värd nästa år !

Every times Snow felt things were too tough for her to carry on- he was there, normally feeling the pain right along with her. Her Charming was her rock in the harsh storms of life- keeping her rooted and able to carry on. Snow knew that in his arms she would always feel safe and like things would get better, no matter how bad they seemed at the time. On that fateful day when Snow had to say goodbye to her daughter, she trusted only Charming to take their daughter and fight through Regina's black knights to the wardrobe. She trusted only him with their baby girl's life. When the curse broke he was there as a shoulder to cry on when they both realised their baby was all grown up. He helped comfort her and take away some of the pain. When Snow and Emma were trapped in the Enchanted Forest Snow knew that her husband was looking for a way to bring them home- and that gave Snow the hope she needed to carry on.

Skipping forward a year or so- when their baby boy was ripped from Snow's arms and she was too heartbroken to do anything, somewhere in her mind Snow knew her husband would bring him back. He was always the one who made things better for Snow no matter how hard they seemed. Everyone looked to Snow for royal decisions as she was the bloodline heir- but Snow knew she was not the one they should look to- it was her husband. He was the one who always put the needs of the people above his own. Snow knew sometimes when things got too tough she was likely to try and back out. But never him- never her Charming. Whenever Snow felt like things were too hard, there he was. Dealing with the hardships himself. Making Snow realise that no matter what they faced they would win- as long as they had each other.
