Uncle
A guest asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch694 "Emma's new brother" where Hans' uncle comes to visit and treats both children as his niece and nephew.
"Uncle Johan!" Hans shouted, racing to the man at full speed. Johan picked his youngest nephew up and let out a great belly laugh.
"Hans my boy, it's so good to see you! I thought I would surprise you and visit you, but when I arrived at the Southern Isles I was informed by one of the servants that you no longer lived there- that it had been arranged that you would come to Misthaven and live with the royal family here instead." Johan set the boy back on the floor and bent down so that they were eye level. "I'm glad that you moved, my boy. I know that you were not happy at home. I know that your parents did not deserve to have you as a son. I would have taken you in myself had I not lost my job at the time. It would not have been fair on you to bring you into that environment. I trust that you are much happier here?" Hans grinned and nodded wildly.
"I'm very happy, Uncle Johan. David and Snow treat me like their son, and not like an invisible child." Johan smiled and looked behind Hans to see Emma peeking curiously at them from the doorway.
"Ahh, and this must be my new niece." Johan beckoned with his hand. "Come here, child. Let me see you properly." Nervously, Emma walked closer to Hans and his uncle. Johan smiled at her.
"Your family took in my Hans and treated him as one of your own. As far as I'm concerned that makes you all my family too." Johan took a sack from off his back and opened it to produce two beautifully wrapped gifts. He handed one to Hans and one to Emma. "For my niece and nephew. I hope you enjoy them, children." Emma looked up mesmerised.
"You're really my uncle now?" She asked. "I don't have any uncles. Well, I've got the dwarfs, but I've not got any human uncles." Emma corrected herself. Johan laughed at her sweetness.
"Yes Emma, I am really your uncle now." He promised her. "Now come children, let's go find your parents so they know I have arrived. They should be expecting me." Hans and Emma happily each took one of Johan's hands and led him off to find Snow and Charming.
