Serenade

Susan asked for a oneshot of Emma and Grumpy getting drunk and going to the loft to sing to Snow and tell her she is the biggest badass of them all.

"I'm going to kill them." Snow grumbled.

"Not if I get there first." Charming muttered beside her as the pair of them rushed to get their dressing gowns on and out to the front door where they could clearly hear Emma and Grumpy singing. Snow knew Emma going on a night out with the dwarfs was a bad idea. She might be an adult with a child of her own, and Snow dearly loved her dwarf brothers but they were a terrible influence. The fact that Emma was on the doorstep singing with Grumpy at half three in the morning confirmed it.

"Is that meant to be Problem?" Charming whispered as they approached the door. Snow shrugged, it was hard to tell with their slurred, drunken voices. Snow quickly unlocked the door and was greeted with whoops and cheers by the pair.

"Would you both keep your voices down?" Snow hissed. "Neal is asleep upstairs and Heaven help the person who wakes him."

"Do you not like our singing?" Emma protested. "Grumpy insisted on walking me home and we got talking about you, mom. We were saying what a badass you are and agreed we should sing a song to you to prove it. These seemed like a perfect song."

"Yeah it did sister!" Grumpy shouted. He only laughed at the stern look Snow gave him. "Sorry." He said in a stage whisper.

"Well, thank you Grumpy, Emma is safely home. You can get going now. Thank you for the song." Snow said firmly as Charming stepped forward to pick Emma up (she was too unsteady to make it up the stairs).

"Ok dokie, sister. See you tomorrow. Happy hangover Emma!" Grumpy shouted as he walked away humming merrily to himself. Snow just rolled her eyes, grateful their shenanigans hadn't woken the baby.
