Henry's twin

Ziamkingbizzle asked for a oneshot of Henry having a twin sister and the Charming family tracking her down to find out she's in a really bad foster home. This is the last multi birth story I'll write.

"I still can't believe they did this." Henry said bitterly from the backseat of Emma's bug. "It was only twelve years ago- it wasn't like olden days when it was common practice. It's disgusting."

"I know that it is, kid." Emma agreed. "But we can't change the past. Because of the whole fairy tales situation we can't really fight the law over it. We can just find her and let her know we got her letter and that we've come to rescue her." A couple of days ago a letter had arrived at the loft for Emma. When Henry was born, he'd had a twin sister. Emma had been told she'd died shortly after her birth, so saw no point in inflicting that pain on the rest of the family. But she'd received a letter from the girl, now called Megan, to say that she knew Emma was her mother and that she was in a terrible situation. The fact that Emma was told she had died meant one thing to Emma- corruption. Clearly somebody was after a little girl specifically and Emma's situation made her daughter vulnerable to it. She hoped that Emma would be able to help her out even if she couldn't keep her. But as soon as Emma had seen the letter and shown her family she knew that Megan was coming home with them.

Now here they were, outside the address Megan had given them. Emma didn't waste any time getting out. She'd been with awful foster parents before and she wasn't letting her daughter go through the same thing…her daughter…it was still surreal to Emma. She'd only just gotten used to being Henry's mother and she'd known that for two years now.

"Hold on there." Charming said, grabbing her wrist. "Is charging in there really the best plan of action?"

"Hell yeah it is." Emma snarled. She marched straight up to the door with all of her family behind her. She pounded hard on the front door. A moment later a balding man with a harsh looking face answered her. "Where is she?" Emma demanded. "Where is Megan?"

"Who is asking?" The man sneered. Emma grabbed him by the scruff of the neck.

"Her mother. I was told she was dead and I just got a letter from her saying she was here being fostered and her life was Hell. She's coming home with us."

"Oh really, is that so?" The man argued back, shoving Emma off him. As soon as he laid his hands on Emma, Charming moved forward and shoved him hard against the wall.

"You do not touch my daughter." He snarled. "You've already hurt my granddaughter, don't push your luck. Just give us Megan and you don't get hurt-"

"Mom?" A little girl asked from the hall. Emma looked round to see her. She gasped at the sight. She was like a female version of Henry.

"Megan?" Emma said. The little girl nodded. Emma bent down with her arms outstretched and Megan ran into them, both mother and daughter crying.

"I'm so glad you found us." Emma said between tears. "Megan, I was told you were dead…if I had known you were alive I would have came and found you like Henry found me…Henry!" Emma stood up and let Megan see her family. "Megan, meet your grandparents and your twin, Henry. We have a lot to tell you, but first, let's get going."

"You can't take her- I have legal rights!" The man bellowed. As Emma passed him she kneed him hard in the groin.

"Watch me." She snarled. Emma knew as soon as they crossed the town line with Megan there was nothing the police or social services could do. Emma's daughter was now safe, and she was coming home. Where she belonged.
