The mystery of babies
Musical Gamer Lover asked for a oneshot of Neal asking Charming where babies come from.
"So, Emma's belly is big because she's going to have a baby?" Neal asked, making sure he'd got the facts right. Charming nodded. "So there's a baby inside Emma's tummy?" Again, Charming nodded to his four year old son. "How did a baby get in Emma's tummy? Did she eat it?...why are you going red daddy? Are you hot?" Neal asked, reaching out and feeling his dad's forehead.
"Um no." Charming said, feeling very flustered. He wasn't sure he wanted to explain this to his son when he was so young. And he wasn't sure he wanted to be picturing his daughter and her husband since she was the example. "That's a question for when you're older, kiddo."
"Aww but dad! I'm a big boy, I'm four! You can tell me, what's the secret?" Neal finished his sentence as a whisper, thinking it was such an important secret that it had to be kept quiet. Charming gave him a nervous smile and ruffled his hair.
"Still a question for when you're older, champ."
"Fine." Neal huffed, but he wasn't done with questions just yet.
"Well alright, you can't tell me how the baby got in, but how does it get out? Through her belly button?" Charming's face totally paled now, if he told him that he'd scar him for life!
