Darkness
CaptainSwanFan asked for a oneshot of Snowing and Killian reunite with Emma after the season 4 finale but Emma doesn't have darkness anymore.
It had been six months and nobody had heard from her. Ever since she'd snuck into the loft and taken the dagger back nobody had so much as heard from her. Then suddenly out of the blue all three got the same text: meet me at the troll bridge at noon. They all tried to call her back, but each got no answer. Eventually Snow, Charming and Killian all had to just settle on waiting. And it was a long wait, but they made it. Now all three were standing waiting at the troll bridge nervously at twelve noon on the dot.
"You all came then." Came a voice from behind them. They all whipped round to see Emma standing there. Her face looked hollow- her cheekbones jutting out at sharp angles. Her clothes were hanging off her. The skin around her eyes was red and puffy. The rest of her skin had a yellowish tinge. "It's done." She croaked. "I left and found Merlin by myself. He was an old man- dying. He took the darkness by himself with some magic he had been saving, it was the only magic left in the outside world. The darkness died with him, there is no more Dark One. I'm me again." Emma couldn't say anymore before fining herself in a gigantic group hug.
"You're home." Charming said, tearing up. "Please, don't ever leave again. We can't lose you Emma."
"I won't." She promised them all. "It's done. It's all done. We can be a family again." She found Killian's hand in the hug and squeezed it. "We can be together." Then Emma just allowed herself to relax into the love surrounding her.
