Bi- part 2
RoseRed asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch454 "Bi" where Snow notices Emma having a crush on a girl even though Emma tries to hide it (In an AU where Hook was never Emma's partner).
Snow knew that look. She would recognise it anywhere. She'd seen it in all the photos where she and Charming were looking at each other. Now she was seeing it on her daughter's face as she watched the new waitress at Granny's. Snow laughed as she waved a hand in front of Emma's face.
"If she's got you that smitten why not just ask for her number?"
"What?" Emma asked, going pink. "I-I don't…"
"Emma, don't even try to deny it." Snow said. "I can tell by the way you're watching her. It's alright, you know your dad and I are fine with it. If your gaydar is as good as your inner lie detector I'd say you're good to go." Emma raised an incredulous eyebrow.
"You did not just say gaydar." She laughed. Snow held her hands up defensively.
"Sorry, sorry. Just trying to get with the modern lingo. Anyway, go on. Take a chance, Em. Do remember what your dad already told you though: it doesn't matter if the person you're going out with is a man or a woman- if they hurt you we will not be responsible for our actions. Nor will Neal when he's old enough to defend his big sister's honour." Emma smiled.
"I would, but I think flirting with your mom spying is maybe a little weird and out of my comfort zone." Emma admitted. "I'll check with Red when her shifts are." She said with a mischievous grin. Emma chuckled as she took another sip of her tea.
"That's my girl."
