Teacher's pet
Effervescent Dreamer asked for a oneshot of Henry being bullied for being a "teacher's pet" because he's Snow's grandson. Henry starts to avoid her to prove to everyone he can be a good student without her help.
Amy, Codi and Snowinginjuly: These have been too closely covered. Just to explain this a little, it doesn't mean I've written something totally identical to your request, it means I've written something that is just too close and would come off as repetitive.
Hannie: Also too closely covered, also, you only need to request something once. Doing it three times doesn't make me more likely to see it :P
Laddy McLadkins: You are one of two things. Option 1: An English person who thinks they're being funny- you're not. Stop. Option 2: Someone from outside of the UK who's seen on here that I've said I'm British and thinks they're being clever. I am British, not English, please learn the difference and don't use stereotypical language, especially when you don't actually know anything about it.
victory: honestly I don't think I can haha. Same goes for the guest who asked for the A Capella oneshot I'm afraid. Not sure I'd be able to do your request justice!
"Hey Henry, need any help with your Pythagoras homework? I know it was a bit tricky so I'm more than happy to-"
"It's fine grandma, really." Henry said, sounding very standoffish. Snow didn't like this new attitude Henry was using. This wasn't the first time recently he had been rude over being offered help.
"Is it Henry?" Snow asked, her annoyance coming out. "Because early this week when I offered you help with your work on stalagmites and stalactites you were just as rude, and the same last week when I tried to help you with your work on the elements of the periodic table. What's this all about Henry?" Snow asked, knowing fine well that something was up. Henry just shrugged at her. Having finally had enough, Snow snatched his pencil off of him. "No, Henry, don't you dare just shrug at me young man. Talk to me."
"Everyone says I'm a teacher's pet because I'm your grandkid." Henry mumbled. "They don't believe I can get good grades on tests and assignments without your help. I need to be able to prove them wrong." Snow sighed and sat down opposite Henry.
"And you think the kids that make fun of you don't get help from their family?" Snow asked. "Let me guess- Gary Owens and Jacob Stewart? They've both been pretty arrogant with me over their marks lately." Henry's silence told Snow she was right. "Gary's dad is a lawyer in Storybrooke and Jacob's mom is haematologist in the hospital. They'll get all the help they can get, believe me, I wouldn't be surprised if they both have private tutors. Trust me honey, they're both just jealous that you're getting better grades than them because you're more intellectual. It's nothing to do with me, not really. But if it makes you feel better and give you more confidence then I'll let you get that A plus all by yourself." Snow promised. Henry smiled at her and took back his pen and looked back at his textbook.
"Thanks grandma." He said before going back to studying. Snow didn't say another word, she just ruffled his hair and got up to get on with her marking. She would have to restrain herself from taking Gary and Jacob down a peg or two in class with some extra tricky questions.
