Emma the Dark One

Jade Star asked for a oneshot of Snowing running into Emma as the Dark One in the Enchanted Forest and she doesn't remember her life in Storybrooke or who they are.

"Emma." Snow breathed, both she and Charming staring at their daughter. "It's you, we've finally found you." After Emma became the Dark One, she disappeared. Only her dagger left behind. At first everyone had been reluctant to use the dagger to summon Emma home. They didn't want Emma to feel powerless or controlled. But after a few weeks without so much as a trace of her the pain became too great for her parents. Together they raised the dagger to eye level and summoned their daughter…only to find themselves standing in the middle of the Enchanted Forest, with Emma right in front of them.

"How do you know my real name?" Emma hissed at them. Her time since the transformation had not been kind to her. Her skin was turning a light shade of green and her hair looked thin and frail. "And why are you here? Since I arrived there has been nobody here. I suggest you go back to wherever you came from before I get irritated by your presence. Word to the wise: I'm not a people person." Snow and Charming's hearts sank, she didn't know who they were.

"Emma you knew use before you became the Dark One." Charming told her, he didn't mention that they were her parents, he didn't think she was ready for that. "We've been looking for you, we want to bring you home." Emma gave a cruel, ear-splitting cackle.

"But I am home, idiotic little man." Emma spat. "I am the Dark One, and the Dark One controls the whole of the Enchanted Forest. I don't know who either of you are, and frankly I don't care, but I will be gracious and give you one last warning: leave, now."

"Alright, alright." Snow said, pulling Charming back a couple of steps with her. "We'll leave you alone." Snow croaked, holding back the tears and biting her tongue to stop herself from saying goodbye. Charming felt similarly to Snow, both heartbroken. They had lost their baby girl.
