Surfing

Emmalove asked for a oneshot of Emma being able to control water.

Emma grinned as she focused on getting a ball of water to rise up from the ocean and float over to her parents before dropping it on them. Before both she and Henry fell about in hoots of laughter. Neal just looked very confused. Snow and Charming grabbed their towels and dried off their faces…for the third time that day.

"Really Emma?" Snow said, beginning to get grumpy. "We understand, you can control the water and it's a new and fun ability. But must you use it to wind up your father and I?" Emma pretended to think for a moment before she nodded.

"There isn't a more creative or fun use for your talent?" Charming added. "Like…surfing some gnarly waves?" He suggested. Emma raised an eyebrow.

"You did not just say gnarly?" She teased him. Charming smiled and gently flicked his sunglasses.

"What can I say? I'm a surfer duuuuuuude like, totally far out!" He joked. Emma rolled her eyes, but it was a good idea. She wouldn't even need a surfboard. She may as well give it a go. She approached the waves and waded in to about knee deep. Meanwhile, Snow slapped Charming's arm. "Ow! What was that for?" He asked, rubbing his now sore arm.

"For giving her that idea! What if she drowns?!" Snow was now on tenterhooks watching Emma as she created the wave. Charming leaned back, relaxing. He knew she would be fine.

And sure enough, Charming was right. Emma created a medium sized wave and leapt on top of it, surfing to the surface. She whooped in joy and excitement.

"Totally doing that again!" She called over to her family. Charming nudged Snow's shoulder.

"See? Surfer dude dad knows his water girl."
