Alternate actions
Noel asked for a oneshot of instead of Hook being stabbed by Charming it was Emma. When all is returned to normal they are incredibly apologetic. Don't worry, I don't ever remember having issues with you on the manners front. And it's no issue now anyway, people who straight up demand them (e.g. do Henry and Emma talking about spaceships) just aren't going to get :).
"Dad, honestly, it's ok. You can't let me go." Emma mumbled, her voice muffled by her dad's jacket.
"Emma it is not ok! I…I killed you. I murdered you in cold blood-"
"No, you didn't." Emma said, pulling out of her dad's hug. She could see the guilt shining clearly in both her dad and her mom's eyes. "Everything that happened in that world wasn't really you. That Snow White and that David weren't my parents, they weren't even an item let alone each other's true love. I don't hold any resentment against either of you, you were just acting the way Isaac basically made you. Because he was the Author he had the power to control your lives. Now all you've got to worry about is being made to buy extra cupcakes and doughnuts." Emma said with a grin, but could tell her parents weren't fully convinced. "Dad, don't look so serious. There are plenty of knives around here. If you really wanted to stab me you would have done it already…"
"Emma that isn't even remotely funny!" Snow snapped. "Do you remember how you felt when you thought you saw me die?" Her mom asked her. Emma shivered as she remembered that horrible feeling of despair. "Well that's how we feel now. Just like you needed time to get over it, so do we. And if that means smothering you for a little bit then so be it." Emma now felt bad for making light of the situation. She flung an arm around each parent.
"It's really ok." She said sincerely. Snow and Charming believed her, but that didn't stop them from hurting, especially Charming. He was going to need time to come to terms with what his alternate self had done, and even longer to forgive himself.
