Unicorn

A guest asked for a oneshot of a three year old Emma letting a baby unicorn into her room. Snow tries to discipline Emma but finds the scene too cute.

Guest who asked for a sequel to Ch618 sorry but I'm not sure I'd be able to write a chapter to that right now, too emotionally draining!

And to the lovely charming guest who decided they would bash every single one of yesterday's oneshots. You may or may not have noticed but I write a synopsis of the request at the top of each chapter (it's just above this message actually). If you don't like what the chapter is going to be about, then may I suggest you don't read it?

Snow could hear Emma talking to someone from where she sat in the study signing treaties. Which was odd seeing as the nanny was on her lunch break and Emma was meant to be having a nap in her room. She got up and strolled down the corridor to Emma's bedroom. She peeked her head just around the door to examine what was going on. She nearly gasped at what she saw- Emma had a unicorn in her bedroom! Not just any old unicorn, but a foal. They never left their mother's side. This one must be an orphan.

"Now you gotta be quiet, Lolly, we can't let mama, daddy or nanny Soso (Emma couldn't quite pronounce Solace) hear us. I'm not meant to have any pets. But I know you've not got a mama or a daddy so you can stay here with me. I'll look after you. Let me show you my teddies." Snow's heart melted as she watched her little girl so gently trot the little unicorn around her room that any intention she had of telling her off for somehow sneaking out to the grounds and then sneaking back in with an animal in tow, simply disappeared. But she couldn't let the poor creature stay in Emma's room, it wasn't fair to them. She coughed, coming into the room. Emma quickly tried to hide the baby unicorn behind her toys.

"I've already seen him Emma." Snow told her. Emma looked like she was going to burst into tears, she'd already grown attached to him. "It's ok." Snow said quickly, hating seeing her daughter cry. "I'm not making you get rid of him. Unicorns don't leave their mommy's side, and the mommies certainly don't let people take their babies, so this one must have lost his mommy. So, he can stay with us, but not in your room. He needs space to run around, and someone to be like his mommy. He can go and stay with the horses. Emma clapped her hands gleefully before hugging the unicorn tightly.

"Hear that Lolly? We can be best buds forever and ever!" Snow knew she'd made the right call, it was always right to see her daughter smile like that.
