They didn't really know how it had happened, but they had been separated from the rest of their team and it sucked.

Uraraka, Kirishima and Sero had been fighting this villain for almost ten minutes now, and they could finally see him getting tired. They had lead him to a less popular part of the neighborhood, where there were less risks of people getting caught in the cross-fire.

The villain's powerful quirk sent streams of an acidic liquid, reminding them of Mina. Except this man was ready and willing to really burn them to death.

A huge storm was closing in on them too, gusts of wind sending everything that wasn't stuck to the ground flying around them from time to time and it definitely didn't help them as the wind also sprayed the man's acid everywhere.

Uraraka was shielded by a tree, waiting for the moment Kirishima would have the man focusing on him to attack. Her costume had been burnt by the man's secretion in too many places and she wondered how she had still something covering her. Her skin had been burnt too but it didn't hurt as much as she would have thought. She was thanking the adrenaline for that.

The three of them had work together plenty of times in the past two years and were a well-oiled machine. Their combos were unbeatable and they were very proud of them.

From the corner of her eyes, she saw Sero nodding at her, waiting for the right timing. He too was burnt, his jacket ruined and thrown aside.

Kirishima was taunting the man, his Indestructible Form resisting to the acid better than his two friends. The second the man charged him, Uraraka was flying at the man, a heavy chunk of cement in her hands.

He noticed her, a second too late. The cement hit him in the chin and sent him flying against a wall thirty feet away. Sero was already on him, his tape binding his body tightly. He checked at least three times that he was really unconscious before walking back to his friends. His acid hadn't burnt through his tape before but he didn't want to risk it.

Uraraka was flying towards a tree where what was left of Sero's jacket had flown. She knew he'd want to get the key chain he always attached to it back, even if the jacket itself would be thrown away.

"Thanks, Ochaco !" He called her and she waved at him, her way of letting him know that it was nothing, really.

"Come on, look at my pants man !" Kirishima grimaced. "This man really had no respect for other people's belongings."

"Yeah, what a prick." The tall boy grimaced.

"Catch it, Sero !" Uraraka called and threw him his token. He caught it with a smile, happy it hadn't been burnt by the acid. It had been a gift from his parents at the end of his first year at UA and he cherished it a lot.

"Come on, Ochaco, we need to find everyone and give this guy to the police." Kirishima pointed at the man laying a few feet away. "And it's raining ! We'll get sick if we don't change clothes soon." He sighed.

He watched as she floated down slowly with a smile when a powerful gust of wind suddenly threw her against a nearby building.

"Ochaco !" The two boys screeched, running towards her. She held herself against the building with one hand, the other massaging the back of her head. Before she could move again, a second gust of wind took hold of her and she was sent flying away.

She manoeuvred her hands on her side so the small reactors on her wrists could push her back to the ground but the one on her left hand had been burnt by the acid and her right one alone was barely powerful enough to fight against the wind. She looked down and knew she couldn't just release her self without crashing down and getting hurt, and if she tried to use her quirk on herself again before touching the ground, she was risking being sent against another building again.

"My reactors are broken !" She shouted above the wind. The boys ran at her. The three students knew exactly what to do, they had already done that move countless of times.

Sero shot his tape at her. She caught it when it flew past her and tied it around her waist, tightly. She tugged on it when she was done and waited for him to pull her back to Earth.

Another gust of wind pulled on the tape but it held on. it pushed her right above them, thirty feet in the air.

Sero pulled her again, and Kirishima placed himself under Uraraka. She was nearing them when wind, more powerful than before, tried to push her away. Sero could feel his tape straining under its force. She wasn't that high anymore, maybe twelve feet away. He held onto it tightly.

"Ochaco, release ! Now !" He yelled at her and she nodded. She released her quirk, only returning part of her weight. Just enough so that the next second she was barreling down onto them. Kirishima opened his arms and caught her easily.

She smiled brightly at them and he put her down. They helped getting rid or the tape around herself. She touched her chest again, her full weight back.

"Are you two alright ?" She asked the boys, checking them with a frown. Kirishima had handled the acid better than Sero and her but still had a couple of burns on his arms and chest. Sero's ribs were already bruising and his pants were now shorts. Bruns littered his body but he still smiled at her.

She was in the same state. What was left of her hero costume did nothing to hide the countless of burns she was sporting.

Now that the adrenaline was lowering, they could feel the pain and soreness their bodies had been ignoring during the fight.

Fiddling with his earpiece, Kirishima told Fat Gum that they were on their way back to the rest of the group.

Sero wrapped more tape around the villain. None of them felt like risking their skin by carrying him. Instead, Uraraka made him weightless and pulled his floating form behind her.

"That move you did with the flying chair was impressive, Sero." Kirishima slapped his back with a smile. "So manly !"

"And you, Kiri ! That moment you tackled him was so cool !" Uraraka gushed over him with a big smile. "You sent him flying so far I wonder if I had rendered him weightless before !"

"And that meteor shower, Ochako !" Both boys grinned at the same time.

"That has to be my favourite move you do ! Ever !" Kirishima bounced in front of her excitedly. "But I'm sorry to say, it never will be as epic as the one you pulled on Bakugou during our first year." He winked and burst out laughing.

When they rounded the corner of the street the other heroes were at, police officers ran at them.

They grabbed the villain and Uraraka waited for him to be in the car before she released her quirk.

They waved at their friends from where they were, relieved to see everyone was fine enough to be standing.

Their pace slowed when they spotted Aizawa in the middle of the heroes. Their teacher's eyes found them and they knew they were in trouble, after all.

Sure, the pros were going to reprimand them for leaving the main scene and fight on their own without supervision, but they were proud of themselves and right now that was all that mattered.

Ochaco grabbed the two boys' hands and straightened her back. She pulled them behind her, head held high.

They would be fine heroes, they knew it. Despite the shaking of their hands as they neared the adults on the scene, they knew it. They would reach the top.
