"Tell me again why letting him drown wasn't a good or moral idea?" Charming asked, shooting his "adoptive father" a dirty look.
"Because you and mom are the ones that told me that everyone deserves a second chance, and that sometimes you have to take the hard path."
"Oh just use my words against me why don't you?" Snow mumbled. "You know if it was up to him you and Neal- and by extension Henry- would never have been born? He tried to make me barren."
"Yes, I know the story." Emma sighed. "But remember, when you originally used the words that I stole from you, you were talking about Regina. You could also say that if it were up to her I wouldn't have been born either, seeing as she tried to kill you both…on several occasions, and me once as a baby. If you can forgive Regina then you have to at least try and forgive George. Emma could see that her parents still weren't convinced. "Listen, I don't have any beef with George. I know he's done some nasty things in the past, even burning Jefferson's hat, but you didn't see him on that beach. He's grateful to be alive, and if nothing else he owes me. You won't be getting any trouble from him any time soon." She promised.
"We'd better not." Charming said, eyeballing George. "Otherwise next time he finds himself in that ocean, he will be sleeping with the fishes."
