MPD- part 2
A couple of people have asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch809 "MPD" where we meet Maria. Evilregal13 I've included Regina for you.
"There we go." Snow said, placing the pink bobble in Emma's (well, Maria's) pigtail. "That's your hair all done princess."
"Kay mama." Maria mumbled, going back to colouring in. Snow's heart skipped a beat. Sure, it wasn't exactly Emma calling her mama, but it was close enough. Snow and Charming had waited patiently to get a peak in at the most childish of Emma's personalities. They'd met Susan that day at the diner, and Patricia had also popped out to say hello one day. But today Maria had made her way to the surface. Her parents knew it was only because she was anxious about Snow and Charming recently announcing their third pregnancy. She was worried that a third might be a stretch too far for the couple and Emma would be forced out. Of course Snow and Charming knew that would never happen, but they understood Emma's anxieties. They were secretly a little happy that it made Maria come out, it was there only chance to relive some of Emma's childhood.
"Look daddy, I'm colouring a horsie for you." Emma announced proudly, showing her dad the colouring book.
"Aww that's beautiful baby. We can put that on the fridge when you're finished." Emma grinned happily, grabbing the brown crayon to finish off the picture.
Just then, the front door opened causing the parents to jump. Nobody knew about Maria, and her parents felt Emma wouldn't want anybody to know.
"I'm only here to collect Henry's Hulk comic book. He insists that he needs that one over the weekend in preparation for the movie coming out." Regina called out. Upon hearing Regina's voice, Maria hid under her dad's arm. She knew this woman was scary, she'd seen her hurt Emma. Regina came into the living room and saw the scene before her.
"What the Hell is going on?" She asked. "Why does Emma look like a giant four year old?" She asked. She had pigtails in and was wearing a pink dress (Snow had stalked up on what she thought might be Maria friendly clothing in Emma's size).
"Regina, can we talk in the hall?" Snow asked. She tried to get up, but Maria grabbed her hand. "Its ok honey, you stay with daddy. Mama will be back in a second." Maria reluctantly let go of her mom's hand and snuggled into her dad's side. Charming wrapped his arms comfortingly around Maria as Snow left the room with a confused looking Regina.
"You're ok baby. Why don't you finish off your picture for daddy?" Maria nodded and picked the crayon back up.
As Emma coloured in, Snow explained the whole situation to Regina.
"You're kidding me." Regina said. So the saviour had finally gone fruit loops. "Is she safe to be around Henry? Could that not damage him seeing her like that?"
"More so than convincing him he's crazy to maintain a curse?" Snow pointed out. That shut Regina up. "Regina, please don't mention any of this to anyone, especially Henry. Emma is entitled to her privacy and dignity. She's incredibly good at controlling it. She just needs it for a bit of comfort or emotional release. Please, don't muck this up for her." Regina rolled her eyes.
"I'm not going to tell people the Saviour is running around like a pre-schooler. I just want Henry's comic." Snow smiled, relieved.
"Upstairs on his bedside table. I trust you can see yourself out?" Regina nodded, going to get the comic. Snow returned to the room.
"She gone mama?" Came Maria's timid little voice. Snow kissed her forehead.
"She's just leaving honey, you're ok."
"Mama and daddy colour with me?" Snow smiled over at her husband. Charming kissed Emma's forehead.
"We would be honoured to, baby."
