Making the dress

LifewiththeCowboy423 asked for a oneshot of Emma and Killian having a daughter and her first Ball has arrived. Snow and Emma make her first Ball gown together and Snow tells Emma she did one for her too.

"You sure I haven't left any sharp stitches or anything sticking out? I don't want Sylvie getting scratched. This night has to be perfect for her." Emma said nervously. Not long after everyone returned to the Enchanted Forest, Emma and Killian had a child together. They named her Silvia, after Killian's mother. Now it was time for her first proper Ball. It was actually the first Ball they'd had since returning, there hadn't been time with all the rebuilding. Emma had insisted on following royal tradition and making her first Ball gown for her.

"Emma, you've done a great job here, especially since you've never sewn before. Silvia is going to look beautiful…but this isn't only Silvia's first Ball, is it?" Snow said, a playful smile on her face. Emma looked up at her mother.

"Well no, most of the kids who were born after the curse have their first Ball today…"

"I'm not talking about any of the kids silly." Snow said as she got up and began to poke around her wardrobe. "Besides, most of them are boys, they don't have their mothers sew their first suit for them. Aside from Alexandra, none of the parents have to worry about that. However, there is an adult who has their first Ball today, isn't there Emma?" Emma's eyes widened as she realised what her mom was saying.

"You haven't…"

"Oh, but I have." Snow pulled out a beautiful sky blue dress with intricately stitched in diamonds. "I wasn't going to skip the opportunity to get this milestone. I made this for you." Snow said shyly. "I hope you like it. You can wear the one you were planning to if you don't like it…"

"Mom." Emma said, placing her hand on top of her mother's. "Stop. It's beautiful. I can't believe you did this for me…"

"I wouldn't have missed the chance for the world. You're still a princess, Emma. You still deserve all the traditions we can give you." Emma pulled her mom into a loving hug.

"I love you." She said, still touched by her actions. Snow kissed Emma's cheek.

"And I love you too, my darling girl. More than you will ever know."
