Hair dye
RollyJodjer asked for a oneshot of Emma dying her hair in purple, pale orange and pink highlights. Totally wasn't reminded of the Mcfly song with this request haha.
Snow and Charming just stared at the back of her head.
"Why did you turn your hair into a rainbow again?" Charming asked his daughter. Emma just shrugged her shoulders.
"I had an appointment at Berdie's salon to get a haircut. She asked me what I was looking for and I thought, to heck with keeping it all the same and told her to be creative and surprise me. I used to love dying my hair all sorts of colours after I left the system- it was a bit of a freedom thing. Sure, some I regret when I think back now, but I liked them at the time so who cares? Although even I have to admit the acid green all over was maybe a mistake." She said with a grin. Snow examined the hair more closely, she had to admit it was pretty the way the sun reflected and bounced off the different colours.
"Well she was certainly creative." Snow commented, looking at the multi-coloured streaks in her daughter's hair. "It might take some getting used to compared to your normal natural blond, but I do quite like it. It's different, like you said." Emma smiled, glad at least her mom was on board. She looked over to her dad, hopeful for his support too. Charming smiled at her.
"I guess it's pretty unique, and just pretty in general. What matters most is that you're happy with it, Emma." Emma grinned, relieved she wasn't going to get subtle hints to have the dye removed.
"Yeah, I do like it. It's something a little different. Who knows? Maybe next time I'll go for fire engine red or glow in the dark yellow? Would be useful if there's a blackout again." Snow and Charming just rolled their eyes. They may as well have a teenager sometimes!
