Hunted down

Just one of my own.

Not sure some people are getting that if you demand it, I won't write it ;) I don't need grovelling, but a simple "can you write…" would be nice :L

Neverless99: I think that's a bit too into the horror genre for me!

Codi: I don't think I can write that because I can already envision the hate I will get from some people :P And I do agree it'd maybe be a bit OOC :)

Paisly99999: Sorry, but I quite liked the way 806 ended :)

LillyDawn: I'm afraid I've already done a oneshot of Emma hiding a serious arm injury.

E is for emma: I can't write your request as that would be a continuation of "Exhaustion" because of the tattle tale thing, and that's already had 3 parts :)

TrueLove13: I've tried sending you PMs but you aren't responding at all so I'll try here. Stop ordering me to do various oneshots, and stop sending a request for every single chapter. If anyone knows a way to block someone on FF and could tell me that'd be greatly appreciated!

Snow sprinted through the forest. Her now protruding belly making it hard, but she wouldn't stop. She had the safety of both her child in her belly and the child in her arms to think about. Charming was at home with Neal, totally unaware of what his wife was going through. She wanted to spend some one on one time with Emma, both Snow and Charming were keen to make sure all their children had healthy relationships with both of them. Whilst on the way to the meadow through the forest Snow had been ambushed by Regina's men. She'd grabbed Emma and ran as fast as her legs would carry her. Snow was fairly sure she'd lost them but she could never be too careful- especially when Emma was with her. Still panting, she got down into a ditch and hid the still howling Emma under her travel cloak to mask the loudness.

"Shh." She said, rubbing Emma's back. "It's ok. They've gone baby."

"But what if the bad men come back?" She whimpered. She placed her tiny hand on Snow's belly. "What if they try to hurt baby?" The three year old asked. Snow's heart swelled with pride. Even at such a young age she still thought of others before herself. Snow kissed her forehead.

"Baby's safe inside of mama." She promised her daughter.

"But they could try and hurt you too mama." Emma pointed out. Snow knew Regina wasn't interested in Snow anymore. She was interested in her children- where Snow held her heart. The target today was Emma, but Snow wasn't going to tell her that and frighten her. But Emma curled up closer to Snow and tightened her grip on her mother's riding tunic.

"What if they take me away from mama and daddy?" She whimpered. Snow's heart both broke and burned in a fiery inferno of rage at that statement. Nobody was taking any of Snow's children. She tightened her arms around Emma.

"Nobody's going to take you, beautiful. Mama won't let them. Nobody's taking my little girl. You're staying with mama and daddy forever and ever, ok? You, Neal and the new baby." Emma nodded against her mother's chest.

"Scary mama." She told her. Snow did her best to both comfort Emma and keep her safe. She knew Charming would come out looking soon. She prayed Regina's men would not find them before then. Snow would in no way let them take Emma- but she was outnumbered eight to one at Snow's count and she knew if they found her the chances weren't good.

"You're doing so well angel. Daddy will be looking for us and we can go home. Until then try and get some sleep honey." Emma nodded against her mother's chest and Snow's wrapped the travel cloak tightly around her- she didn't want Emma catching a chill. It didn't take long for Emma to sleep and only a few minutes later exhaustion overtook Snow too.

Snow woke up with a start to the sound of many horse hooves. Her heart began to thud in her chest- they were here. Snow felt Emma move her head. She reached down and pressed a finger to Emma's lips.

"Mommy needs you to be very quiet." Snow breathed against Emma's ear. Emma was too frightened to even respond to that. Snow clutched her daughter to her tightly. She was too heavily pregnant to fight them off. Snow could only pray they wouldn't be spotted.

"How did you lose them?" Snow heard Regina snap.

"For a lady carrying two children she runs rather quickly." A guard grunted in return. She heard the same guard yelp in pain a moment later, and Snow didn't want to know the grizzly details behind what had gained such a reaction.

"This is not the time to get smart with me!" Regina barked. "I want that child! I want to see the pain in Snow White's eyes when I rip the little brat's heart out of her chest and crush it to dust." Snow heard Emma gasp slightly as she realised Regina was after her. Snow was grateful the cloak masked the sound so well. Snow felt Emma begin to shake against her. She started to sway ever so slightly with Emma to try and soothe her.

"We think she might have been heading east towards the cottage she used to live in with the dwarfs." Another guard said. Snow didn't allow herself to feel relieved quite yet.

"Well then." Regina said slyly. "Let's go." Snow heard from where she and Emma hid in their ditch as Regina and her men headed east in search of them. Snow didn't move for a solid ten minutes- frightened they'd come back.

"Ok," She said to Emma when she was sure the coast was clear. "They're gone." Emma immediately burst into tears.

"They want to take me!" She wailed. "No want to go!"

"Hey hey hey princess. Nobody is taking you anywhere, remember?" Snow wanted to find Regina right now and plant an arrow right in her chest. Nobody threatened her little girl. "Mama's right here- she won't let them, ok?" Emma snuggled, cuddling as close to her mother as the bump would allow. It wasn't long after that when Snow heard hooves returning. "Stay quiet Emma." Snow whispered franticly. "Mama's got you." But as they got closer, both Snow and Emma relaxed. They could hear Charming calling out for them. "We're down here!" Snow yelled. "Charming!"

Charming followed the voice of his wife until he and the small group of guards found his wife and daughter.

"Oh Snow, I was so worried. I heard Regina had been sighted-"

"Daddy!" Emma screamed, launching into his arms. All she could do was wail, terrified. Charming carefully shifted her into one arm so he could place his free hand on Snow's belly, silently asking if the baby was ok. Snow placed her hand on top of his, letting him know all was well. Charming was then able to give Emma his full attention.

"There baby girl. It's alright. Daddy's here. You can go home now." Charming promised her.

"S-stay with mommy and daddy tonight." Emma demanded.

"Of course baby." Charming answered her, knowing both he and Snow wouldn't have dared place her in her own bed tonight.

But Emma didn't even make it to the palace before falling asleep. She nodded off with Charming holding her safely on top. Snow was behind him, not taking her eyes off of Emma.

"She's alright Snow." Charming assured her.

"You didn't see her when Regina threatened her, Charming." Snow sighed. "I felt so powerless. They could have taken her right from me. I wouldn't have been able to protect her…"

"Snow there is no point in upsetting yourself over what ifs. Emma, you and the baby are all fine and Neal is safe at home. But for now we'll limit any outings to within palace grounds, alright?"

"Better." Snow sighed, resting her head against Charming's back.

"Rest, Snow. You've had enough excitement for one day too."

"I'll rest when our baby girl is back safely at home and both her and her brother are tucked up safely in bed." Snow said stubbornly. Charming smiled warmly, she could be a real mama bear at times.

"Then I shall get you home as quickly as possible, my sweet."
