Naughty children
Decan Frye asked for a oneshot of Snowing come home to Red- who was babysitting- tied to a chair. Emma, Neal and Rosie are out playing in the woods and Snowing is furious. Just to explain the ages (as I see them in my head and tend to write them) Emma and Neal are 1 year apart, Neal and Rosie are 2. If you include the 2 younger boys (Christopher and Michael) Rosie and Christopher are 1 year apart, Christopher and Michael are 2. So, just as an example, if Emma was 10 the rest of her siblings would be 9, 7, 6 and 4.
"What happened here?!" Snow asked as Charming quickly undid the knots that held Red to the chair. "Who broke in?! Have they got the children?"
"Nobody broke in and took the children. The children broke out." Red grumbled, standing up. "Neal tricked me into sitting down to play chess with him. As soon as I was down Emma used her magic to bind me to the chair and they ran off with Rosie. I'm not sure she was so keen but they didn't give her much choice- mostly so that she didn't try to free me I guess."
"Red I am so sorry, Emma thinks that because her powers are developing she can be the boss of everyone. Well she's got another thing in store I'm telling you! Blue can give us a potion to stop her powers for a few weeks. Doing extra chores without magic should remind her who's in charge. Can you help us track them down?" Red nodded, sniffing the air for a whiff of their scent. She caught hold of them and helped Snow and Charming trace them to where they were playing tig through the trees. Well, Emma and Neal were. Rosie was sitting quite tearfully by a tree.
"Emma Ruth and Neal Leopold! March your little backsides over here this instant!" Charming bellowed. All three heads whipped round to see their aunt Red and their parents. Emma and Neal's faces filled with dread while Rosie's filled with relief.
"Mommy! Daddy!" The youngest cried, springing over and wrapping her arms around her dad's knees. "I didn't want to go!" She wailed.
"It's alright honey." Charming said, patting her head. "We know, Auntie Red told us." By this point Emma and Neal had trudged over to where the adults stood. "And what do you two have to say for yourselves?" He asked them sternly.
"Sorry Auntie Red." They both said together, looking at their feet.
"Darn right you're sorry. The pair of you will be doing extra chores for a fortnight. And that means without magic, Emma, understood? We will be going to extra lengths to make sure of it. Not only did you do something incredibly rude and disrespectful to your Auntie Red, but you could have got yourselves into serious trouble here. And poor Rosie didn't even want to be here! You have not been good niblings, and you have not been good big siblings. Now march!" Emma and Neal with their heads slouched marched on in front of their parents, Red and Rosie. They were really in for it now.
