Head wound
LyssLovesShules33 asked for a oneshot of Emma cracking her head open in the apartment but she tries to hide it because she doesn't want stitches. But Snow and Charming spots blood in her hair.
"Son of a gun!" Emma exclaimed as she rubbed the back of her head. She groaned when she felt something wet coat her hand. As a child she had split her head open during a game of baseball and she'd obviously ripped the wound back open bashing her head against the corner of the drawer.
"You ok in there Em?" Emma heard her dad call up.
"Yeah fine." Emma said, quickly grabbing a tissue and wiping away the blood. It would heal up by itself she figured. She finished getting herself ready for the day ahead and headed down to make herself some toast. Emma had already put up the hood on her hoodie to try and hide the still visible smudge of blood on the back of her head. She didn't have time to take another shower to wash it out properly.
"Emma, please take the hood down when you're indoors." Snow sighed. She normally had to have this conversation with Henry, not her grownup daughter.
"I'm just about to leave." Emma complained, munching quickly on the dry toast, wanting to leave as quickly as possible.
"And until you do, hood down." Snow said coolly. Emma rolled her eyes and ignored her mom, not prepared for her dad to yank the hood down.
"Hey!" Emma complained, but it was too late, he dad's gasp confirmed it.
"Emma! Your head's bleeding!" Hearing what Charming had said, Snow came over and inspected the wound herself. "What happened? Were you planning on leaving the house like this?!"
"It's fine." Emma snapped, pulling away from them both. "I split my head open as a kid and the wound's just re-opened because I banged it this morning. It'll be fine." Emma insisted.
"Darn right it'll be fine. Know why that is? Because you're heading straight to the hospital for Whale to patch you up."
"No." Emma said sternly. "This is exactly why I didn't say anything to you. I am an adult, I can make my own decisions regarding my own healthcare and…mom please tell me you're not on the phone to the hospital?" Emma groaned. But she was.
The next thing Emma knew she was bundled into the cruiser but not on her way to work, on her way to the hospital for Whale to superglue her head back together. Emma stayed sullen throughout the whole process. Why didn't her powers include healing?!
